Marcus Sedgwick Brian Jacques Markus Zusak Garth Nix Jonathan Stroud Eoin Colfer Neil Gaiman Maggie Furey Philip Pullman Robin Hobb Susanna Clark Joe Craig Kevin Crossley-Holland I've been to a talk with Garth Nix, Markus Zusak and Jonathan Stroud before, they are brilliant speakers. Especially Garth Nix, he's hilarious. These are just the first suggestions off the top of my head, there are so many talented webcomic creators and authors out there.
