Siobhan_Katie_Cullen
Will ET Be Cancelled/Postponed if the snow continues? I mean, the snow in Northamptonshire and all around the East Midlands (and the UK for that matter) has been really bad, and it's showing no signs of stopping. If it carries on, and airports and closed and it becomes really hazardous for people to travel to the convention, is it likely to be cancelled and if so will we get refunds? Both me and my friends are only coming from Kettering so we wouldn't have too much difficulty, but obvious there are some coming from different countries and other areas around the UK. Thank you for any replies or info
Jodie.rawr
I doubt it will continue snowing for another 3 weeks. And even so I doubt they would cancel it unless it got really bad, like 3 foot deep haha :)
Endless Fighter
I doubt it as well... here in Germany we had the bad snow thing in the beginning of January and it lasted for a little over a week... so I think in 3 weeks it'll definitely be okay... xVickyCullenx
Hopefully it won't last for three weeks Though just a snowday tomorrow would be nice... I live in the town next to you hehe

p388
Even if it did keep snowing I would put on my snow boots and coats and make it some how!! Probably tie my dog to a sledge and mush it all the way!
Aakerman
Of course it is possible that it would stop snowing and start again, bla bla. Lets just hope it won't snow around that time. Personally I am flying from Denmark and landing in Birmingham, so I'd be one of those affected by the weather when it comes to airplanes and such. But lets just see if it doesn't stop first. Seems to me England doesn't have snow very often and that is the issue, not really prepared for it or some such.. If it continues, I hope they will get that part sorted

SugarSpunSister
Personally I am so over the snow already! The sooner it goes away the better and it better be gone by the time of the con... I will be traipsing over from the Ibis, will have to wear my wellies all 3 days!

It feels like we have plunged into another ice age with the wind chill taking the temp way down.

thewhiteladyofrohan
i know our snow in northampton is bad, but the chances of it lasting for a full month (given that it has already been here a week already) i think is incredibly unlikely
