Cider Posted June 5, 2005 Share Posted June 5, 2005 Having read the posts on both forums it would seem to me that: a) what the OCO said at the time of his posting was true to the best of his knowledge i.e. Adam was unable to comfirm time off from The Inside by the deadline he required and then suddenly he was announced for this event. Form the OCO's point of view, and without having the full facts, this probably looked a bit suss and he was rightfully peed off. Showmasters were obviously more able to offer Adam the flexibility he needed to come to the UK and so they got the guest in a totally non underhand way. c) both organisers have now spoken to each other and cleared the matter up between them. So, as much fun as all this bitter squabbling is, can't we all just accept the fact that there are two events happening on the same weekend and they both have great guests. Personally, I'm going to the other event as I bought my tickets last year and they have, at this time, more guests that I want to see. I really don;t think showmasters should have to justify every little thing to the fans, like they are doing at the moment. surely that is detracting from them being busy with finding us other great guests?
