Them kinda crew get dealt with though. what was her job in that section? i know someone who did runner down there, and was moved to sean's PA on saturday. let me say now, any crew who gets that kind of job... well, i hope no girl was sat with elijah, otherwise i doubt if she's alive. i've heard the dagger looks are just slightly unpleasant. and she certainly didn't ask SM to transfer her. and... do explain how 'them kinda crew' are dealt with, because it reads almost as a threat. which is not a good idea, i would suggest. Just to clear it up though i meant dealt with her meaning maybe a warning or making sure she sticks to the job that is given to her and that she is not crewing to socialise with guests, but to carry out the job she volunteered to do . Thats the one mate, her name was phillipa, it wasnt tara who was actually given the job in the begining to be seans guest assistant, i think she went toliet break or something then this girl jumped in when really it should have been a pit boss or me lol EDIT to former post, i'm only rememberin now it was sunday my friend was there (sorry for confusion, she did runner on saturday) reason for confusion, this was my third SM event, but the first i was only present for on 2 days. which has left my sense of time screwed up even now and sorry for readin too deep into your words, just that if i thought that a friend of mine was being slagged without cause, i'd not be happy about it. just over-protectiveness fair enough, someone takin a job they shouldn't have, i can understand anger/annoyance. nah, my friend was runner and actually seemed to prefer it, cuz she felt afterwards taht she hadn't been fully prepared for the job, and i know she whould actually prefer to do something more on the ground next time... anyway, a runner has more chance of meetin every guest than a sitter!! Oh and the accent is Canadian!!!!! lol For the other person with a comment about the guy asking to "squish up"the Sean queue - if he was blond with glasses and spikey hair then that was Sean's agent! I would like to add that other members of 'Team Savvy' are in any way not like this. We are a group of friends who enjoy cosplay and cons. *my two cents* Nicely said. Best I could think of saying was 'Laundromats and washing machines were invented for a reason. So you dirty laundry doesn't have to aired in public.' H i there *waves* Well, let me just thank you again. I was gutted when I found out what had happened with the tickets, as we were going home that evening and I was certain we wouldn't get to see him. The girl I spoke to on the SM desk was really helpful and passed us over to the pit boss with the long hair, who then directed us to you. To be honest, I don't know what I was expecting you could do about it, but you were all fantastic and really made our day and I can't thank you enough. I know because I was sitting next to her with John Rhys Davies. Not that it matters because you appear to know who you're talking about now. May I point out that I saw a similar situation arise with a different crew member on Sunday who shall remain nameless. I've crewed 5 times for SM now and I've never seen this crap happen before, I was disgusted with how this person ended up getting their own way. Anyway the person who took on their "unwanted" position was great so bugger 'em! Then on Saturday they were meant to be somewhere and were again seen hanging around Sean and "helping" Ben get coffees.
