I'm sorry to hear that you were poorly Crusty. I was getting dispondant and thinking this thread may have to close,..however, you are back on form and at

such a pace - you are quite brillient - no time for wiccawise 21 or anyone else to try their hand, so I am rushing through the next five questions whereby they may have a change to see the clues before your answers are forthcoming. I am glad that you are well again and am thrilled that you still dip into this thread. So, here goes.

1] Di removed edible corn from the mixture. (C.8)

2] Who adores this perplexing spot (L.6)

3] Is he in the cabal Roger, the devil take him. (c.6)

4] The frisky foal takes a drink. (L.8+4)

5] Did 'Orinoko Flow's singer have a letter on her head for an Elfs treasure. (O.5)

Great to hear from you again wiccawise21, Glad you're back. I hope you

will take a fresh look, maybe tomorrow, at some of the questions, before

giving up. I'm sure crusty will come up with the answers, but it's nice to see you have a go.Don't forget the clues are in the questions. It's a bit early

for help, but another word for contorted is twisted - mixed up and the

same goes for bizarre. The first Q is a royal personage - which limits the

answers to very few names doesn't it . I hope you will have another think through them. Look forward to hearing from you.

You are so brillient at this Crusty - I'm going to miss you as this will

slow down the thread, please look for it on your return. We have gone through 61 questions so far and over the last weekend I've come up with another 64 questions so this thread could be going for a long time, just as long as I have my faithful followers...which leads me into a hello to wiccawise21. As we know crusty is going to be away for a couple of weeks, I will search out the least difficult of my clues (I hope) to encourage you to keep trying... and here are the next five. Good luck.

1] Nine Alarming Zealots Gallop Upon(the) Land; capital! (C's.6)

3] Ye won against the Witchking (C.5)

Hi wiccawise21 - Whoops, I can't count (have now amended)

and Yes you have them right - just 3 and 4 to get - Try to get No 3 at least, it's quite literal. Find another word for Central and another

word for Sod (not the swearword but its original meaning)

Clue for No. 4 . Old Boys school - think of Eton and then think of another

school like it ...and what do you say when you're telling someone you've

finished doing something. It's XXXX (and dusted).

I hope you'll give them another try. I'm glad you enjoy the game.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Time for some clues.

Cereal person....cereal, such as, but not, wheat

person, such as, are they male or female?

That would give you their first name.

What do you normally spread on toast (the natural thing)

and what do you say through your lips when you are cold

....that brings you to the second name.

Or for that last bit of the clue, think of something from a plant that

sticks to your clothes and hair as you brush past, which is difficult

to get off ...it is the same word as that which you say when you are cold.

To the other question...clues

Knight - how many Knighted actors were in LOTR?

Calm Leek Inn is the anagram of their name.

I hope now that you can give me the answers.

And congratulations on the three you did get.

The only knighted person I remember is Sir Ian McKellen. Is that the answer to 5)?

Welcome Queen Sindel, another visiter to my thread, I hope you will

pop in again from time to time. Yes you are correct, Ian McKellen is the answer to number 5 and that is good considering that I made an error

(again!) and said 8+8 instead of 3+8 (which I have now rectified).Sorry.

No-one has yet got our "cereal person" ....I hope someone will give it a try soon.
