Oh my God you have them all wiccawise 21 , so quick and all right straight off - you are really getting better at this. Gosh - now have to find five more questions. Many congratulations. Feel proud. These are possibly a little harder, but you're getting the picture of how they're done, so good luck with them and to everyone else who pops in to look at the questions.

1] He nags a load of tripe (C.5)

2] From far, a mire is seen within (C.7)

3] It flows through Gondor and in U (L.6)

4] Gollum blames Sam for its loss (O.6)

5] French Capital dispersed former home secretary (A.5+5,6)

Hi, just bringing my thread to the front of the pile. Still three questions to respond to. Just to remind you of them, I repeat them below.

1] He nags a load of tripe (C.5)

2] From far a mire is seen within (C.7)

3] French Capital dispersed former home secretary (A.5+5,6)

Hope someone out there will give it a go.

Great 4 days at C7 - spent far too much!

Hi Crusty, welcome back - yes, as seems to be happening far too often, I cannot count. Sorry. Yes, I had a great time at C7 - I got Sean Astin

to do a favour for my friend as an early birthday present. He embarassed

her royally and sang "Happy Birthday" to her but she loved every minute of

it 'cause he didn't let go of her hands for ages, then gave her a hug and a fleeting kiss on the cheek before going on with his work - he is such a lovely guy - as are all the LOTR guests. Sigh... Did you find time to go?

OK, on with my game (I have to swap places, so cannot chat any longer)

5 new questions.

1] I HATE ON (C.7)

2] Ho! green tin complex circle of distruction (O.3,3,4)

3] The men from here are in Cowboy and Indian films we see (C's.11)

4] A light is on n'off by the river (L.9)

5] Do pork pans sizzle in an elven forest (A.6+4)

Good luck.

Hello again wiccawise 21 - hope you enjoyed yourself at C7.

I'm sorry to say that you have two questions wrong but I think you should pat yourself on the back for getting the answers you did.

1] Correct

2] Correct

3] x (wrong direction)

4] Correct

5] x (I see where you are coming from with your answer, but this clue has

an anagram of the actors name in it and the elven forest was just to

let you know he played an elf)

Will you try again with questions 3 and 5?

I actually wanted "Westernesse" but I don't want to be pedantic.

As for No. 5, put all the letters before "sizzle" in a circle and see what actors

name comes out. It was a non speaking part and he was mostly hidden by

a banner in ROTK - that is the part where I recognise him playing an elf. He

is also quite an acomplished artist and was one of the guests at the Fellowship

of the Ring at Alexandra Palace last August BH. Are my clues helping?

I hope you will give it another shot.

5) sandro kopp. i would never have got that if it wasnt for the tff clue. i was doing the anagram thing right though... i just didnt figure it out.

*is getting worse again*

Hello wiccawise21 and welcome Elathan and Billybird.

Good try Elathan - not bad at all - and you got your answer right Billybird.

Wiccawise21 they are all correct except No.4 and that is my fault because of a typing error on my part ... I stupidly typed an 'i' instead of an 'e' and didn't notice it ...so, the questions goes ...

"canary" who LOST his head (not - list his head...sorry)

Hopefully that will be enough for you to get the correct answer ... and

again, sorry for the mistake.
