Congratulations again Crusty - I imagine you do the Times crossword

in 10 mins! It is easier to create the clues than to try and work out someone

elses, and I'm always thrilled when I see you've done them all. Wiccawise 21

congrates in your attempts. With regards to the Peter Jackson clue, it helps

to have been alive for quite a few years. Although the most famous, famous 5 is the kids stories created by Enid Blyton, the ones I was suggesting were the Jackson 5 when Michael Jackson was a kid, who, being famous in the 70's may well have been before you were born. As to Peter, it is a biblical reference

to Simon whose name Jesus changed to Peter, the rock on which the church would stand.

Well, as promised it's time for the next 5 questions....

1] Take the top off the tents in the forest (C's 4)

2] Are you hurt coiling around that evil place (L 6+5)

3] It's folklore about an SA coin shining on his staff (C 10)

4] The line as lean and twisted as this creature (A 9+4)

5] You and you and a disjointed group of men (C's 7)

Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi wiccawise 21 - you got ENTS correct. I'm afraid the other one isn't correct.

Some clues for you. SA coin = South African coin - Name it: and what is another

word that you could use when describing a tale that is folklore, very well known, but not necessarily true? ...and " his staff" is a clue too.

Good for you wiccawise 21 - did you break it down

Folklore=Myth (or Mith)

SA coin = Rand

and the rest you literally had to guess.

As some time has passed, I'm giving some more clues to help you sort

out the rest.

2] ...around = jumbled and it is 11 letters (6+5) and its an evil place, so

you look for 11 letters before around and think of all the evil places in LOTR

and try and unravel them.

4] ...and twisted = jumbled and its 13 letters in total that need unravelling.

It is an Actor who played a creature (orcs and such like things, not hobbits,

elves, gnomes or any men)

5] ....a disjointed = the words coming before have been jumbled.

You = U

perhaps that helps you work them out. I hope to hear from you again.

and where's Crusty with the answers - have you got fed up with them?

You have them all correct Crusty. No 5 on reflection wasn't as good a clue as I had hoped but Dunadun was the correct answer. Nice to hear from you again.

I do like visits from others like wiccaswise 21 giving it their best shot too and hope you all keep enjoying it. I have a new area of questions - O for Objects.

Here are the next five questions.

1] Go, brag around about this creature. (C.6)

2] Many orks run idly amok, in the initial stages. (L. 5)

3] Orcs fasting, the air inside is blue (O.5)

4] Steep and rugged rock stand I, sounds like I'm in my eskimo skin coat!

(A.5+6)

5] Cox's Orange ..... is a British Apple [C.6]

Hi naurarwen fangorn and wiccawise 21 ...NF - sorry your answers to 1,2,4 were wrong but you are

correct with No. 5. Congratulations wiccawise 21 you have No.2 and No.3 correct.... so that just leaves

someone to come up with the answers to No.1 and No.4 ... Clues are therefore required.

No.1 = a creature (orcs etc.) who has a name. Words before "around" are jumbled up to give you that name.

No.4 = find another name for a steep and rugged rock (add an i) gives you first name.

find another name for an eskimo skin coat and although it's spelt differently, it is pronounced the

same as the surname of this actor.

Hope this helps you find the last answers, unless crusty gets there first!!!

Glad to hear you are enjoying the game. I shall try my best to keep it up.

Looks about time I offered some assistance.

1] It's crazy, so its mixed up - but its also hidden in there, so its not

all mixed up - try unmixing Adolf and the gn of gnome and see what you

get.

2] This I agree is much harder. "E frail thin moth" is an anagram - the second and third words are "....... the fair" so, from the remaining letters,

what can you get?

Good luck.

question 4 - more clues

"E frail thin moth" = the anagram

E frai th = the letters for "the fair"

l in moth = the remaining letters - can you find the name in these remaining jumbled letters LINMOTH

OK, "Object" wasn't exactly a correct definition but the name you are searching

for is not an actor, character or location either - and hopefully, the last part of

the clue "designate of this land" will help you get to the conclusive name we're looking for.

I'm surprised, especially after giving the clue, that no-one has come up with

the answer to question 1.

If there are no replies to these by tomorrow evening, I'll give the answers and five

more questions. I think crusty must have given up on us.
