Too bad, would have loved to meet Amy! Although I do think that it's not more than fair that the crew takes Amy off the main page of the convention. It would be really sad if somebody decides to go just because of Amy, not knowing that she already has cancelled.

The person I spoke to didn't take the new code either at first, but then found it through searching for showmasters events. He started saying something about SHO being individual letters so maybe that's a something to say if they're saying that the code doesn't exist because it does. Well well all booked now, but it took 30 min of long distance call... but hey small price to pay for seeing NB, SM, JAR and KS! :)

Website says they have 459 rooms but we don't know how many are allocated to ME at the discounted rate. Seems bigger than that but i guess its only on 3 floors and i think there was roughly 150 rooms on tbe second floor i was on for HW3. I guess if everyone going stays there they'll soon run out but a lot of people at HW3 used other hotels for various reasons. Good job I didnt leave it any later. Must gave got one of the last ones. I, like Rockstar6662, also stayed at the Radisson för HW3 and I remember that they had at least 2 other conferences and a big wedding during that time, so if that's the case in Feb too maybe they have allocated rooms to discount rate too and that's why ME has used up their quota?

If we only want guranteed guests I think we'll have to go with the ones that have stopped working actively as actors. Like 1of2 said, I don't think that any still active actor will go to a convention knowing that they risk loosing a role in a movie. Or if they do prioritize to go to a convention I believe they will demand such high remuneration that each convention only can afford maximum one guest in total. So the question is do we want retired actors only or do we want the possibilty of more popular ones but with the risk of them cancelling? I know that late cancellations creates a lot of work for ME and I feel for them as I feel for the convention-participants. I don't have the money to go to Chevron 7.7 but will go to Chevron 7.8 and my hopes are that Amanda won't cancel. If she does I'm sure ME will do everything they can to get replacements. I just want to thank the ME-crew for even doing the conventions!

Oh, so curious now!! But I've been trying to find a lot of the actors on facebook and none of them says anything about february, so I guess I'll have to wait and see. Although I did see that another actor I like is coming to my hometown this year so thanks Crippsy_99, wouldn't have seen that otherwise!

I have a question to someone in the crew (maybe Yvie?) : I really want to go to Chevron 7.8 but I don't know if I can timewise at the moment. If I buy a ticket soon and it later turns out I can't come, can I email yvie or somebody else, and you can cancel my ticket (without refund of course) and sell it to someone else? It's bad enought for me if I can't come, but I'd hate for someone to miss out on Amanda Tapping and the others if you're sold out just because I bought a ticket I can't use? I know they said they were going to have one, but I didn't wait and booked anyway through the Radisson website. My room costs £55 + tax per day, which I thought was pretty fair. Although it doesn't include breakfast which the con rate usually seems to be doing. Maybe the con rate will show up when the new webpage goes online...

Hi! I stayed at the sheraton last year and they did the same thing to me. Luckily I could borrow money from my parents until I got the money back but I was really worried that they had double-charged me but I got it back the end of the week I think. Hope you get it back soon!

When you buy a ticket for a photo, that will just be a little piece of paper you give the photographer, it won't have a number on it, as far as I know, only the name of the guest you want to take your photo with is on the "photo ticket". But to know when to take your photo you have to look after the group that 1of2 talks about is on the schedule. sorry 1of2, didn't see you had written a reply before I posted mine, so I edited mine to go better with yours...

Hi! I'm not staying at the Sheraton, but from what I've heard a lot of people who stayed at Thistle last year have now changed to Sheraton. So I'll guess you'll sleep well in your nice hotelroom (I stayed at sheraton last year) and there will be the usual line of con participants back and forth between the hotels. I know that I downgraded standard wise, but I got too afraid of all the cars *chicken* although I would have preferred the standard of the sheraton instead.

I've thought about it and I can think of one reason why people would want to swap passes. If you and your friend live nearby and are interested in different guests the pass could be used by one person one day and the other person the next. That's the only reason I can think of... It's a shame if people actually do it, because I think the passes looks nicer than wristbands. But I know what people are capable of. I was involved in an event in my hometown where we used ink marks on peoples hands for access, but then we heard that people got their ink mark and then before the ink had gotten dry they went and "marked" somebody else who then got a free access... So whatever precautions are taken some people always find their way around it... I'm coming all the way from Sweden so I'll hang on to my pass, i'll be unconsious before I leave my pass to somebody else!

Hi Jenny! Last year I went to my first convention, all by myself and I thought it was scary before I got there. But when you get there people are really nice and it's easy to find friends. I heard a lot of foreign languages, so I think you'll find people who speak german. :-) I speak german (almost fluent) so at least I know one german speaking person who is going to Hallowhedon :-)

I did some checking today and at least James Marsters and Nicholas Brendon's webpages state that they're not occupied elsewhere that weekend.. then it's a whole other thing if Hallowhedon manage or want to get them, but it would be sweet

Sure it would be nice with someone new, but it would be awesome to get Nick back again! So much fun last year! *thinks back*
