Any news if he's really going to be there? Confused because there's still no announcement thread for him but Showmaster said he would attend Collectormania 19 ... Hope it's true. Would love to meet him :)

Haha, of course. But as I said: "so the argument of long flights and flightcosts doesn't work here " That doesn't include other reasons like: No interest, no time... etc. We'll see... it just would be great if Showmasters tries to get him and other Marvel/Thor actors :)

But there are also lots of great big actors who are living in the UK, so not that far away... I totally understand the point of the costs of course. It's just sad that the US has so many better options and that Comic Con over there is so popular that they get all top class actors and we in Europe are just not important enough Why media outlets get the stars for interviews? Because they interview them during press tours, simple is that. They don't have to fly them in for an interview they are doing a press tour. Most of the time... Still, very disappointing. Hopefully we can at least get some of the Marvel actors like Tom Hiddleston, who lives in London... so the argument of long flights and flightcosts doesn't work here Europe really needs a Marvel/Thor panel! :)

Oh yes that's so true. Comic Con gets so many amazing guests we never get in Europe. It's a shame. It would be so amazing if there could be a Thor panel!!! With Tom Hiddleston, Chris Hemsworth, Jaimie Alexander, Christopher Eccleston etc... Just once... European fans are always kinda disadvantaged.. not only when it comes to BluRay/DVD releases (Avengers ) I also would love a generel Marvel panel with actors of several Marvel movies. Btw: Why are there so many huge guests at Comic Con in the US and not in Europe? Do they charge less over there? I mean, just have a look at all the names who already attended Comic Con. It's unbelievable. They even get actors like Robert Downey Jr. and even Joss Whedon. Why isn't it possible to get those gets for European events? I know... prizes etc. But why is it possible in the US then?

C'mon, we really need a Thor/Avengers Convention next year!! With the end of the Twilight Cons, there is much room for new conventions and I am sure that an Avengers Convention or even a general Marvel con with guests from all films of phase one of the Avengers initiative would be a hit. And there are plenty of actors you could invite. :)

Did already anyone went to the studios? Are they already filming in the studios or still in Bourne Woods? Any infos? :)

Back to topic. No Tom never RT'ed us and he also doesn't follow us etc. Hope he starts to follow us one day. But we really wanna earn it and not ask him to do it. :) Thor 2: Excited about the first set pics :) Can't wait to see some set pics of Loki! ^^

We're in London in 3 weeks. Thought about to go to the studios when we have some free time. But if there's no public transportation it's pretty hard to get there. Cab would be pretty expensive Other than that, I don't think we can make it till the end of October Does anyone of you go there by car?

Thinking about to come to London as well for 2 days. Just need to know before I book anything if the chances are good to meet him there. Otherwise it would be a waste of money. Will be in London in 3 weeks but won't have time to have a look at the studios Luckily the flights from Germany are pretty cheap, so a 2-days-trip to London again should be ok... Not sure yet tho. So if you try to meet him, it would be great if you could help us (me and my best friend) ... well maybe we even could meet, if you want? Do you live near London? Yes, in Cologne we waited outside the studio. The studios were closed as well and you couldn't see anything. But we waited at the back entrance, where they had to leave and Tom almost every day stopped with his driver in front of the fans to sign stuff and take pictures. Not sure if that would work in London as well. First of all you have to figure out, which entrance they use. And then wait. wait. wait. But Thor is a high budget production and Only Lovers was a low budget production. Could be that the security measures are higher and that the actors are not allowed to stop for fans. But you really just have to try and figure out yourself. To wait in a group is always good I suppose...

Yes, I've met him in Cologne. I love his interviews btw. He's so well educated and always polite to the people and often has some witty anecdotes to share. And 'The Hollow Crown' was just brilliant. Wonderful cast. I loved it and Tom was truly amazing in it. It was not during a convention but while he was filming 'Only Lovers Left Alive' here in Cologne. And he really IS the way he seems like in all those youtube videos. The filmset was in a really big area which you couldn't access and Tom could have easily slipped past us in a dark car or van without anyone even noticing. But he took his time almost every day (as far as I know) to take pics, chat and sign stuff for the people waiting outside. It sometimes took him up to 20-30 minutes, but he made sure every single person did get a photo and a signature - even personalised. Ugh, I would love a Thor/Loki photoshoot. That would be awesome. With Thor 2 coming out in November next year it would be great to have some of the cast at LFCC beforehand. Where can I sign for that?!? Yay, another one who met him in Cologne in front of the studios :) Have to agree with every single word. He is such a sweetheart. Always smiling and he always made sure everyone has pics/autographs. I have to say it again, HE WOULD BE A PERFECT CONVENTION GUEST. Curious if Showmaster already are in contact with him or if they are planing to invite him to a future event. Would totally go to a Avengers/Thor convention and also would spend a lot of money for it. :) Even if Tom wouldn't be there. Argh, now I wanna go to a Avengers/Thor con. Hopefully there will be one in the future. I mean, of course, guests like Robert Downey Jr. are not realistic, but luckily there are lots of other actors in the movies who are realistic. Hopefully Tom is one of them. But for a London based convention organiser, Tom seems to be perfect, as he's living in London. (Also met Tilda Swinton in Cologne and she's so lovely as well. <3)

Ok, so I met Tom recently and he truly is one of the nicest guys I ever met. Absolutely down to earth. Very friendly and extremely polite. Can´t say anything bad about him. He really loves his fans and I really do think he would be a perfect convention guest, because he's amazing with fans and funny + honest. Pretty sure, his panels would be amazing, as he seems to have a lot of stories to share. So please Showmaster, he must be a guest at one of your events this or next year. This guy surely will become very famous in the future... Use your chance now

He´s amazing! would be great if SM would get him as a guest. Doesn´t matter what event, I would attend. But mostly I would love him to attend HW4 :) He seems to be very nice and funny. Really love his charisma. He also seems to be very polite. Wanna meet him so badly!

They re-scheduled Cabin in Germany. Now I have to wait till 23. August So sad!

Not planning on attending LFCC and I would prefer them to be a guest at HW4 But of course, I do understand that they maybe are better LFCC guests. Tom is such an amazing actor. His performance in Thor and Avengers was breathtaking. And in interviews he seems to be so much fun. Pretty sure he would be an amazing convention guest. Didn´t buy my HW4 ticket yet as I´m still waiting for my WOW guest... haha. Tom or Jeremy would make me buy a ticket. Altough I have to re-write an exam that weekend... I think I would wait 6 month to write it again to be able to attend.
