I was planning on Hub next year but have been to the last 3 so I think I will leave the next one:) What else you planning on going to? I'm going to ET3 and will be getting tickets for ET4, Bitten and this very soon!! I really hope Housebroken and Bitten don't get cancelled because I have booked the hotels for them and they are non-refundable!!! I think I must be one of the only people who have never watched Torchwood!! Not true!! I haven't watched it either. xD I swear down man if these cons get cancelled I'ma be so angry!

It is indeed. The feature's not too shabby either. And in the latest SFX Special (the best scifi of the 00s) Being Human is named as one of the best TV shows And they know to, because it rocks. Series 2 starts January 10th, just in case you didn't know. :) *is a fan of Being Human on Facebook*

I totally agree with Big Brother I have to admit. There's only so many times you can recycle a reality TV show. At this rate the same thing'll happen to The X Factor. On the other hand... Happy Days was class.

It popular cos it's a good Hitchcockian thriller and keeps the viewer on the edge on their seat and has that "there's something out there waiting for us" vibe to keep it pushing forwards. It's a dialogue driven film and takes place in just one location and has no need for SFX so from a film-making point of view it has its merits in terms of writing and simplicity. Also its a story of redemption; something of an eye-opener and applicable to anyone. It's a story that can happen to anyone - in the film, Stu is a normal typical everyday man who is picked out by a sniper. Well that's true, I spose. But like I said I really am not a film person.

To be honest I'm not a film person but from the films I have seen, I don't get why Phone Booth is so popular. Don't ask me for any other films as I'm rlly not a film person.
