I think she probably is in terms of actors, Ian McDiarmid was about £85 last year which I think was the most before this. That said some of the astronauts at Autographica have been a lot more. To be fair though, they are on an entirely different scale.

Mind you, after tonight's episode of Vicious on ITV, it's going to be a bit difficult to take Ramsey Snow seriously next series!

I've not read any of the books apart from the first one but I'm told by those that have that this series has diverted from them more than any other so far. Can't help but wonder if it's that much of a coincidence that this has probably been the least impressive so far, certainly feels like there has been a greater reliance on shock value this time round.

Apollo 13 for me, was lucky enough to meet the real Fred Haise at Autographica a few years back.

I would just say it's worth having a back up option just in case he has a change of mind on the day which is what I understand happened with his decision not to sign shirts last time round.

Annoyingly I did hear Mark Gattis ask about attendance numbers on the Sunday afternoon when I was waiting for his signature, someone did confirm it but I can't remember what the answer was. I'm not sure physical queue barriers would be such a great idea, if you think of cases where they say ask for the next 25 people to join the line if everyone had to funnel through one opening to join the queue I could see it getting a bit messy, when there is nothing physical in the way people could just step in without too much hassle. It does rely on everyone playing by the rules of course but I didn't get a great sense of too much deliberate queue jumping going on over the weekend.

Whether there will be another Sherlocked event or not, and at this stage it's not clear either way, I'm sure the recent one was a nightmare to organise, it would be good to see some more of the cast at other Showmasters events in the future.

Just to ask a really stupid question, are the photos going to be called in batches, so if I buy an lower numbered batch ticket, will it be called earlier than a higher numbered one or is there some other element to the batches?

I knew it would get knocked down here but I was hoping there would be some news about whether a second event would take place in the UK or even a bit of an update on how successful this one had been. Still plenty of time for all that I hope!

Like a true pillock I kept meaning to buy a programme while I was at the event but never got round to it. Is there any sort of online store or something where I might be able to get one?

Imagine paying money to go to a convention then just sitting there the whole time fuming because the lead actor is posh!

The evidence that Cumberbatch comes from a relatively wealthy background?! Hardly up there with the Kennedy assasination, glad I avoided him!

The likes of Cumberbatch are always going to draw the big crowds and if there was to be another event my first preference would be another big event with one of then there (I still don't really see Freeman ever doing one though) but if it was a choice between a smaller hotel based event or nothing then I'd certainly prefer that.

I thought I saw the dark haired lady with a make up bag on Saturday nipping into the Cumberbatch photoshoot, I'm assuming she was Claire Pritchard-Jones as she was doing a talk on make up and hair over the weekend on the second stage.

There's a lot of work that comes after these shows (don't forget there were two events last week) so I wouldn't read too much into there being no announcements about a second event yet. If memory serves, there wasn't an immediate announcement about Destination Star Trek after the previous one finished. Also worth bearing in mind they did talk about a U.S. Event as well, I'm assuming that will come before any other UK ones. That said, wouldn't be averse to an announcement that there will be another UK one though!

I'll admit I still don't really get this whole shipping thing, and I'm not sure I really want to, but during the introduction to the screening, Cumberbatch did say that he thought Sherlock and Irene Adler had 'a night' after he saved her at the end of the episode. Not sure if that is shipping though!
