it's funny, I was sat watching the Caprica pilot the other night, and thought 'wouldnt it be great if there were more battlestar guests at the events?' and this popped up. Although I would LOVE a battlestar con, it probably won't happen, but if showmasters could think about getting more guests from battlestar im the future then that would be great as I just love love love them! (jamie bamber or edward james olmos thank you please!!). I'm not old enough to have enjoyed the original series but I loved the reimagined series (sorry!), it was clever, thought provoking, imaginative, slick, made you think about it for hours afterwards (in fact my father and I discuss it quite regularly!), truly the most clever sci fi series ive probably ever seen. But then I am young, and have much to learn.....

I shouldnt really tempt fate by getting too greedy with guests considering how cuckoo i am about Sam....but i'd quite like Hoyt (Jim Parrack).... or Allan Hyde would also make me quite, quite happy!!! although actually this is one of these cons that i am totally chuffed whoever gets announced, as everyone is fantastic!!

Yeah have to say talie its a bit different pressing refresh or staying up ALL night in the hotel lobby to queue for tickets.......that was a once in a lifetime thing and it was an amazing experience hahaha, I do always wonder if anyone else has ever stayed up all night to get tickets for any other ME event?!!! have to nearly agree that it does take the fun out of it, but at least its booked now.

I totally agree Rev. Scapegoat, and really good advice, thanks. I had a tattoo when I was bang on 18 (I am nearly 29 now) and I have to say I absolutely HATE it!!! I will be getting it covered over, but you cannot just keep getting them covered up with something else every time you grow out of them (because sometimes thats just impossible) - I've learnt from my mistake and I will never just go and get one done on a whim again. This one is on my back though so thankfully I dont have to look at it every day hahaha! That isnt to say that everyone will make the same mistake that I did, but just to put a little more thought into it before you go really wouldnt hurt at all, just to make doubly sure. It really will be with you for life and youll need to love seeing it on your body for that long too!

I've also got those fangs and can say they are brilliant and fit really well. its a bit fiddly getting them fitted first of all (but thats probably cos im all fingers and thumbs!) but great once they are done. all you have to do then is learn to talk without a lisp with them in!!!

I'd also quite like kellan to come back - for anyone that has not experienced a kellan hug, its one of lifes great pleasures LOL!!! also he has cool mates that came along last time - tanner and ryan - so you get 3 fitties for the price of one!!! oh also, cough billy burke cough!!!!

I'd just also like to add my small voice to the concerns as well, and like everyone i remain optimistic. I do think it is disappointing when there was such a big thing being said about it being a 'huge' event and it seems to have fallen flat. ET3 does seem to have been forgotten in place of the more expensive ET4 and I do feel a bit deflated about it all tbh. We all pay a lot of money out for these events and a little bit of feedback and being kept in the loop as to whats going on would probably cheer us all up immensely - i know its the old saying 'no news is good news' but when it starts to drag on and its give or take a month away from the con......you do start to wonder and doubt the tiniest bit. However i do remain positive and like everyone said, we were disappointed with the guests for the proms until we got there and had the most wicked time with them, so thats got to be a good thing. I think the bottom line is dont shout about events being 'huge', i know it must be incredibly difficult to book guests with their busy schedules but i think all of us would agree - we would rather have not been told things like that at all, than it be said and then fall flat. anyway let's see what happens and how it pans out. im sure we'll all have a wicked time together like we always do.

I've got fangs already from the ET events....so i'll probably be a vamp for this one! have no idea what im wearing yet, on a bit of a fitness regime so the skimpiness of the outfits all depends!!! i have to say though i am SO looking forward to planning this outfit, its such a wicked theme!!!

id love the guy who plays Hoyt to come, after seeing series 2 he is just soooo gorge!! im totally made up that Sam was announced, he's my fave and i am just going to be a snivelling mess when i meet him....aaaaargh!!! I need to also mention Alexander needs to come as my best mate is mental on him so that would make her year if he was announced (i wouldnt be all that unhappy either, the guy is hawwwt!)... and also Ryan Kwanten would be perfect for my other mate who coming to this - to have all the girls' men there to gawp at we just may die of happiness!!!!!
