  1. I couldn't make it personally but a friend picked up an Ernie Hudson Crow pic for me and bless him on his own doing he put 'It can't rain all the time' which happens to be my fave line
  2. With you on that one hon...well this re-make anyway!
  3. Having seen the trailer i'm giving this one a wide berth so it I don't get infuriated. Typical Hollywood type movie...change all the fundamentals and set it in America. No thanks.
  4. Well if he is not allowed to do any conventions and such how does that explain that in July he made an appearance at the fair of a North London School to sign stuff (however only bought from that venue). I had wanted to go but it was a few weeks after I moved back to Scotland So surely if he can do that and not blurt out the storylines *shrugs*
  5. Yup you are right the acute is of French origin. I should have actually structured my response better, when I said a Scottish thing I meant the reference to 'thingy, thingymabob, whachamacryit' as its a rare occasion where i've heard it elsewhere. See what happens when you sneak on the PC when you should be working and don't have time!
  6. the thingy being referred to was an acute thats above my name changing the sound of the 'a' so instead of using the proper word I always use the word 'thingy' as has most people i've come across.
  7. Or his son Peter, from Seaquest and my personal fave 'Penhall' in 21 Jump Street, which Dom also had a guest role on.
  8. Mine was weird and amusing. When I met Billy Boyd I was amazed as he was the first person ever to pronounce my name correctly from the spelling of it. Of course not thinking I told him this and he replied with 'but it has the thingy one it' and my reply being 'yeah but people tend to ignore the thingy or don't know what the thingy is' Que Billy with 'how can they ignore the thingy'. I guess 'the thingy' must be a Scottish thing. And to make me blush even more about this my good friend Silverlady happened to be his PA and although she didn't know me then she remembered me! Good thing you love me eh hon!
  9. Some guests from Veronica Mars and CSI and *cough* Gerard Butler *cough*
  10. Not too far to travel for me (from Fife) although I have crewed at a few events down south, I don't mind heading town so I can see my friends. Edinburgh is closest to me but i'm biased as I lived there and its my fave City, ok so on par with NYC. And hey at least our weather is improving
  11. I missed my Bon Jovi gig because of the delays as friends didn't want to travel to MK. I wonder if its the same builders that had the contract for the Scottish Parliment...a big hole in the ground in Edinburgh gee that was useful.
  12. Loved him as Rooster in Annie and of course in Attila with Gerry, but he scared the bejesus out of me in IT. Thanks to that book/movie I now have a phobia of clowns. And I can tell you being chased by a clown on stilts - not fun. *shudder*
  13. Agreed! m If I see that annoying advert of his one more time
  14. lol very interesting reading. I love the 'lost husband George from Arbroath.'
  15. I'll wait until I see something about it in a more 'reputable' newspaper. I would love it if we had some more Buffy in any form!
