  1. I thought I recognised him from somewhere like that, but thought it must have just been a previous convention and wasn't sure so didn't want to sound weird lol. Looking at http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Tim_Ingham it does seem to be that very same person, just shows what a true fan he must be to go to the conventions and dress up as opposed to somebody winning that just to try and get on tv. I was behind him in the queue to get in. No idea why he had it but I think his name is John.
  2. Definitely not Mark Hamill. The original post states it is a supporting actor and it is their first signing ever. Luke is not a supporting character and I am certain Mark has done signings in America before and he did the big Star Wars one at Excel a couple of years ago. I think it will be Denis Lawson. As far as I can tell every other actor, other than Mark, Harrison and Carrie, who can be classed as supporting and was in all three films has done signings before.
  3. I was just looking at the price list for the entertainment guests and there is a guy listed named Ian Durant but I cannot find an announcement thread for him and he is not on the main site either and was just wondering who he was. I couldn't find a listing on IMDB. Is he a Star Wars actor as I know a lot of them weren't credited especially when it came to the various creatures and the imperial/rebel soldiers
  4. I was just going to play Devils Advocate and point out that Ian McDiarmid was only in Empire following the tinkering by Lucas in 2004 but this post has cleard everything up. Like the previous posts I think it must be Denis Lawson.
  5. Hi, Just wondering if there are any plans for Colin Teague to do a signing session as the guest list as been updated a couple of times since he was announced and he has not been added to the days and prices list.

    Sunday

I don't know if Massive Events being added to the mix this year will change things but at previous events all guests usually only do one day. I think that changed one year when Kai Owen was there and did the weekend but it is not a common occurrence.
  7. A question I have regarding photos is which website is correct. All of the advertising states that the Massive Events website is the official website for Bad Wolf and this states that Gold and Silver ticket holders will be able to have a professional photo shoot with each individual guest that is taking part in an individual photo session. It does not mention there being any limit on the number of photoshoots that you can attend. However, the original 10th Planet website states that you get 1 photo shoot with each guest doing individual photo shoots (up to maximum of 6 guests). Is it possible to get clarification as to which one of these is correct.
  8. I think it is to do with the fact that the room where the dealers are can be locked at night so they do not have to remove all the stalls at the end of each day as they would if they were out on the walkway.
  9. I haven't been today but from the last event I would recommend that if you are after anyone sitting in a numbered signing area you use the gate nearest to them. Last year all of the gates by the guests were opened. For example, if you want to meet Patrick Stewart, he is sitting next to gate 1. If you enter by gate 4 you will have to make your way around half of the stadium before you can join his queue for the virtual ticket. There were also signs last year advising people what gates to use for certain of the guests that they expected to be busy.
  10. They're still stopping at the temporary station (at least that's what I was told when I booked my coach tickets) Thank you.
  11. I normally travel by coach to this and the last couple of times it has stopped a temporary coach station. Does anybody know if the Coachway has reopened yet or are the coaches still stopping at the temporary coach station at Campbell Park.
  12. I met Leslie around the 2.30-3.00 mark and there was an issue with him signing some photos as there was a German guy who had about 8 and he would only sign 3 of them but they were all the ones provided by Showmasters for him to sign. I don't know what his reason for this was. At this time as well they were going to take him off for a quick break but he decided to stay and continue signing. I met him a few minutes later and he did not seem quite with it as he was very confused and not making much sense when he was talking to me. He was then taken for a break at which point I was told that he suffers from diabetes which no one realised and he had been given some biscuits about 30 minutes previously. I did see him return about 15 minutes later and he seemed more lively. I had also taken part in the photoshoot in the morning and he seemed very lively then so I think that it was just a temporary situation caused by him being ill.
  13. It looks like mine was Collectormania 1 in 2002. I met Robert Englund and behind us in the photo that a friend took of us both there is a standee of Freddy signed R Englund "Freddy" 2002. Also notice in the photo is the poster containing the autograph price as being £7.50 or £4 on your own item. How times have changed.
  14. I agree. Last year my friends and I walked back to the train station, caught the Maglev to the Airport and ate at a Wetherspoons in the Terminal. Much preferable to paying the ridiculous hotel prices.
  15. The walk from the temporary coachway to the Centre:MK only used to take me about 10 minutes to walk it and I am not exactly a fast mover. It is a straight walk from the coachway to the Centre:MK and the first bit you come to is the end where Collectormania used to be. Looking on the map on the bus thread you will approach it from the end marked Campbell Park as the road in black at the top of the map is the one the temporary station is on. You just need to go to the left of the Centre:MK to get to the bus pick up point.
  16. The ones I recognised and can remember were The Mummy, Titanic, Richie Rich & Jumanji as well as a couple of professional head shot type photos.
  17. I don't know what happened to Roger Limb but Roy Holder was admitted to hospital with appendicitis on the Saturday according to a woman on the information desk. She stated that the free autos were to be from Roy but they spoke to Roger and asked him if he would do it instead but insisted only it only being for 100 people. I got there at 11.00 and they had handed them all out as they were still planning on it being just 100 for Roger. Obviously they then transferred them to Keith when Roger didn't attend. They tend to hand them out to everybody as they go in so I wonder how many people actually used them.
  18. I would agree with that. The last 2 free guests at Collectormania Glasgow were Jimmy Vee then Rusty Goffe. So I think they go for (no joke intended - honestly) smaller guests for the free ones. As the original post states the free guest will be put up soon I am assuming that this guest has not yet been announced.
  19. When I go to MK by train I get a taxi from the station. There is a rank outside the station and although they have black cabs and private taxis I think they can all be flagged down without any need to call and order one. The rank outside the station is always filled with both types of taxis. I usually tell the driver I am going to The Centre and that I want the Middleton Hall end and they drop me by one of the entrances near the event. The drivers seem familiar with events going on and know where to drop people for them.
  20. Cool guest (from someone who has been asked to do the Truffle Shuffle on occasion).
  21. I second this but only if they go Saturday. Actually attending a Dr Who convention on Sunday.
  22. She is Peter Davison's daughter and appeared in the latest series of Doctor Who in the episode The Doctor's Daughter playing Jenny the girl created using the Doctors genetic material. Met her at Bad Wolf last week. Very nice to speak to and very attractive as well.
  23. He was also in one of Tom Bakers best Dr Who stories, The Pyramids of Mars. Any chance of signing him up for the Sunday.
  24. He also fills the Dr Who quota as well. Destiny of the Daleks 1979
