There's no harm whatsoever in letting people know there's an announcement coming. It's a good way of getting people talking about the events. Anyone who gets disappointed that it isn't their guest and then gets angry at SM really needs to put stuff into perspective.

It makes sense to try and get people to attend both days knowing there will be different guests. If they're fly over guests then there's no point just having them for a single day, but to get UK ones there for a day works just fine.

In all honesty - it's the Internet. It's the sad nature of people being anonymous and/or behind keyboards. When you can say something without any real ramifications, it happens quite a lot. But yes, a number of fandoms have those nasty divides and it is quite saddening. I genuinely ignore it for the most part though it does often put me off getting involved in certain discussions.

The clue is that it's tonight. Actually tonight.

If it's sold out then it's sold out unfortunately. As for how likely a certain guest is, I'm afraid no one can comment on that before an event. Sorry. But welcome! :) hope you enjoy it here.

Thursday is the new Tuesday.

Yeah I can see some people have cleverly inserted 'Tuesday' into some posts thinking they can fool us into announcing early.

It's Thursday. It was always Thursday. Any reference to Tuesday is just people reading things wrong. Thursday. Definitely Thursday and at no point did anyone ever put Tuesday.

It is nice to read stuff like this so thank you :) I know (from personal experience as well) that it's far easier to come online and comment on things when they've gone bad etc, so it's always good to know there are things that are working too, and that our efforts are appreciated :)

Jeremy Renner - exceeded all expectations of someone of that stature. Friendly and enthusiastic. Michael Emerson - just such a sweet and considerate guy and completely fascinating. A true 'dream' guest for me.

All currently announced events have a section on the forum. If there's not one, then it's safe to say it's not happening at this time. If it is to happen, it'll be announced like all the rest :)

From my experience at other events and shops etc - "proper" staff doesn't guarantee they're nice to you either! Personally on the whole I think our crew does a fantastic job at these events, and the feedback usually reflects this.

Combining with LFCC would have resulted in far less room there, too cramped, many complaints about that sort of thing etc. There's no way that would have worked logistically.

Autographs and photo shoots are what they are and you get what you pay for. There's never been time to chat during photo shoots and not during busier autograph signings either. Yes these can be expensive events but if they weren't charged for, they wouldn't happen. I feel most of the prices here were in line with worldwide prices.

Yep it's definitely a venue thing. Absolutely nothing Showmasters or any other company can do about it. This is why you're allowed to leave and get whatever you want elsewhere :)

I'm of the opinion that, even though I love the MK events, if they can't do them properly then they're better off not doing them at this time. If it's too big for the shopping centre yet the stadium can't give what they need, then there's very few other options.

If they do return to MK, it'll be when they find a suitable venue to do so. At this time, it's pretty clear that things weren't right with the stadium etc. I doubt they'll ever say it'll NEVER return to MK as it's home.. but until anything is announced, assume it's not happening any time soon. There are plenty of other events happening at the moment :)

As with anything, the mods will pass on the info as soon as we have it.
