    SGA guests?

I love SG1 but yeah, I'd be disappointed if there were no SGA guest. Speaking personally I'm not really bothered about SGU, I tried and tried but I could never get into it.
  2. OK, ideas..... um ....going with season 10 SGA and have an Arthurian theme ....seeing as the outpost was found for SGA as in Antarctica we could have a winter ball? ..... Science party?????
  3. Blimey there's some on that list that reading once is enough for me. Gone with the Wind is a tome in itself.
  4. I agree, I understand showmasters are very busy but with only 53 days to go until 7.7 and limited funds it would really allow better quality costumes if we have enough time to make them.
  5. Eve Myles is one of the nicest guests I've ever met and absolutely hilarious too. Lovely to see her at another event.
  6. 100% out of the running for this Cheveron? No. Less likely than before his announcement at EMS? Yes. Massive Events and Showmasters are sister companies, so yes you can talk about their respective events. Thank you hun, wasn't sure of the association but I knew there was one.
  7. Flan-tastic ........I'll get my coat. Seriously, you guys going to this event are so lucky.
  8. I'm guessing Joe is out of the running for Chevron now as he's at the Entertainment and Media show (am I allowed to mention that one? Sorry if I'm not.
  9. It would be lovely if Atlantis was represented, and just to put this out there I know people who are holding off buying a ticket to see if Atlantis guests are announced. So.. seeing as Joe Flanigan is in France until 30th October it would save showmasters some money flying him over from Europe rather than USA?
  10. ditto I'm the same. For me it's about the experience as a whole. The writing on the photo has a story and a memory attached to it for me and that's more valuable than just owning the signature.

    which guest

For me it would be James Marsters, ummmm I've lost count but it's double figures
  12. Not in the slightest. Not even an ickle ickle bit.

  15. Has anyone actually had any money taken from their accounts for their room at the Park Inn. I booked as soon as the number went online. First I was told it was the full amount of they were taking and then just a £20 deposit. Nothing has been taken from my account, the confirmation numbers don't work online so I can't look at my reservation. I've phone the hotel reservation team on 4 different occasions over the past few weeks and asked if they are taking the money and been told every time yes they'll do that right away and send me a receipt via email and all 4 times nothing has happened. Just wondered if anyone else has had any money taken?
  16. Well done Showmasters for making a good call. I applaud you for putting the attendees of your events first. Certain factions of the media and entertainment industry always have an angle or agenda and usually it's based on perpetuating stereotypes in a negative or derogatory light to incite ridicule for cheap laughs or sensationalism. Thank you for being savvy enough to read between the lines and protect the integrity of your events and our interests, it's appreciated.
  17. Someone, anyone from SGA pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease.
  18. I have to agree, Robert Patrick is one of the nicest guests I've ever met. An absolutely charming man who was attentive, gracious and generous with his time. Thank you Robert.
  19. CMK is basically in sections. The Shopping Centre has Destination Dining at Queen's Court, this has a YoSushi, Nandos, Carluccios, and Cafe Rouge http://www.thecentremk.com/Destination-Dining The Hub down by the Jury's Inn; Brasserie Blanc do a 3 course dinner for £15.95 and the food is great quality. http://www.brasserieblanc.com/locations/milton-keynes.php There's loads more at the link below http://www.thehub-miltonkeynes.com/Directory The Theatre District which is obviously by the theater at the John Lewis end of the city; There's the Red Hot Buffet (all you can eat place with cuisine from around the world) which is up in the Theater District, which is at the John Lewis end of the shopping centre across the road, in the same places there's also a TGI Friday, Tia Pan, ooo and an new one on the corner opposite Waitrose but I can't remember what it is. The Xscape building near the theater, has Chimichangers, nandos, Ask, Whetherspoons, KFC, Maccy D and a Spanish Tapas place and a pizza express. There's also a Harvester just opened in the Xscape building. Saturday nights get really busy so expect to wait for tables even at places like Nandos. There's loads more, these are all in and around the same area. I'd have put a map up but a lot of the ones online are out of date. For anyone who needs to eat Gluten Free, Caluccios, YoSushi, Wagamamas, and Blanc Brasserie have gluten free menus If you need something out of the city let me know, I'd be happy to help.
  20. I think mine is either a copy of The Jackal from Buffy the Vampire Slayer which was also used for Star Trek Nemesis, but I can't remember how much I actually paid for it, or the broad sword from the beginning of Bram Stokers Dracula which was also used by Angel in season 1 of Buffy (I think).
  21. I think if your going to pay your respects it doesn't matter who the person was, it's a nice gesture. I've actually heard there are people who collect photos of grave stones, decorative ones, usual ones etc but they're always respectful and even tidy up ones which are neglected. So as long as everything is done with respect I don't see the harm in visiting or taking photos of what is for all intents and purpose a strangers grave.
  22. Just out of interest what percentage of Chevron attendees are repeat ticket buyers? I've never been to a Chevron event before so I'm not sure if these people have attended before or not, as well as any of the SG-1 or SGA main cast of course, how about ; Patrick Currie Colin Cunningham Ellie Harvie Morena Baccarin Craig Veroni Connor Trinneer
  23. I prefer the Northampton Park Inn as well - even though it is one hour further away for me then the NEC is I'm very fond of The Park Inn too. Many a happy Hub have been spent there.
