  1. The Kings Man. It's an OK film, though hampered slightly I felt by the foreknowledge of Conrad's ultimate fate, as it lessened the impact a little. Additionally, I know the Kingsman films are fundamentally, but deliberately silly for many plot points, but I rolled my eyes a little at it all being resolved by a vengeful goat.
  2. Same with Tom Holland, he's in everything now.
  3. The Adam Project. This was an enjoyable film to watch though it's not anything spectacular. In one respect it feels a bit like it's just another film smashing Marvel mains together again, but it worked. The actor playing young Adam was very good.
  4. It's always hard as it is really easy of you know how it works, but trying to explain it is a bit like solving a complex maths problem
  5. Virtual Queue ticket - it's a numbered ticket that will have the guests name on. You collect it from their signing desk so as soon as you get into the venue, go to the autograph area, find her desk and ask for one from the crew member at her desk handing them out. This ticket and number represent your place in the queue and it means you can go off and do other stuff rather than have to stand in one queue for ages until you get to the front. It also means they can keep the queue's manageable. Once you have your VQ ticket, you just come back every once in a while, check the white board that will be around her desk somewhere, and you can join the real queue any time after your number is on the board. The whiteboard will call people like this - VQ 1-30, and then VQ 1-60, VQ 1-90 and so on. They use the VQ system for most guests who are over £30 so if there's any other people you want auto's from as well, make sure you go and get VQ tickets for all of them before you do anything else. If a guest is a Diamond Guest, Diamond ticket holders get priority, and they will only start calling VQ tickets after all the Diamond passes have been called.
  6. I think the answer is they probably don't exist any more I'm afraid. I know people were looking for them recently as well and the result was the same, there's no trace of them. there are other companies out there who do similar things but I'm not sure of their details unfortunately.
  7. Mads is entirely possible at any time and he's con friendly so I'd assume he will pop back up at some point. The problem is that he's usually fairly busy now, so it's finding time, and he may well be appearing else where in the UK later in the year. Jude would be a great guest and certainly very popular but as far as I'm aware he's not done a con yet.
  8. Lots of guests cancel frequently - Charles Dance and Jonathan Frakes are well known for it, but they do manage to turn up eventually. Unfortunately it happens, no guest is locked into appearing no matter what, and often they need to cancel for work or health ect. It just means that you factor that in to your decision to come to the show or not if you only want one of them, or come for other people, and if they make it to the show, great, you can get them.
  9. It was either Therica or Lilly I think - it was a female £10 guest who upped it to £15
  10. It looks like it's a mixed bag at the moment, some of the guest cancellations they announced on Friday said vouchers, but like on Bernards they didn't specify so we will have to wait and see what people get, but basically, yeah, they are still issuing vouchers....
  11. No refunds has been standard since the events started more or less, it's usually in relation to saying if you choose not to attend and it goes ahead you can't ask for a refund, not that they won't refund (in whatever form) if the guest cancels or the show doesn't go ahead. With the refunds they are now issuing, it does seem that some are in cash, though it depends on how you paid. I did a pre order for a few guests, some of which were paid with cash and vouchers, so my refund for Brian was paid in both (they refunded part cash but have neglected to give me my vouchers yet which I'm still chasing.)
  12. My reading of it is that they are not asking for proof of anything, just that people be sensible and test and not come if they have it. they are unlikely to ask people to show negative tests/passports on the day as it'd descend into chaos as no one will have it on them.
  13. There's a few guests who are known to be very slow and rarely see tons of people - Richard Dean Anderson, Tom Baker, David Bradley (I think), Peter Weller. It's unfortunate but it happens.
  14. I think they did post on social media somewhere, I think it's as per gov guidelines and re photo's it'll be down to the choice of the guest on the day, so I'd say be prepared for non touching/distanced photo's and that some may ask for it to be a screened shoot.
  15. I think they have, I'm sure it said on the DP info it's max 3 only and that if you wanted more you would need to queue again. It's a bit of a catch 22 unfortunately, with a one day only headliner they are always going to have limited signing times as they will do more photo's as they are quicker so if they didn't have DP's you'd still only get the same amount of people through and tons will still miss out. At least with having DP's, those that have them have the security of getting them.
  16. Obviously Dalek means Gold pass there and not Diamond But yeah, essentially there's not much to add. I wouldn't buy a Gold just to try and meet Jodie as it's a lot of money if you don't, but it's impossible to predict unfortunately so it becomes a calculated risk on your part and you have to ask yourself 'are you willing to pay that much for the Gold when you may still not get her, and can you afford to 'loose' that much money if you in fact don't. Dalek's suggestion of using the send in service for her auto and buying a photo shoot is a good one, because that way you still get to meet her briefly at the shoot and still get the auto, even if it's not in person.
  17. I think with a one day popular guest who's essentially sold out of DP's it's fair to say that she may not see many non DP people, but outside of MJF I don't think they have ever said with any other guest they were DP only. On the other hand, I guess with covid and her being pregnant she may have asked for limits. But as you say until something is said officially it's just a rumour, so I guess we will see. If it is true though they really should say as there will be people attending who might not of they know it's DP's only.
  18. It should say on the Eventbrite page next to each item but usually for entry its the day before I think
  19. She was down to her last 5 DP's yesterday but yeah, she's on batch 9 for solo's, batch 1 for the green screen, and batch 5 for the duo, so not the highest number of batches sold ever, Cumbers did far more, but that's a decent amount. SM are good at getting through them though and as the batches are smaller numbers of people, it's not horrifically large numbers of people to get through.
  20. They have always had an odd rule about not allowing the sellers to promote on the forums, I'm not sure why, as you say if they are paying to be at the show and SM know what they are selling it shouldn't be an issue. But I guess it's still a potential issue with stuff like send ins because it would be competing with their service, whatever state it's in at the moment.
  21. As Wrong says, I'm just stating the official rules, what you or others do with them is up to you. This isn't a criticism of what you are saying though as it's very valid unfortunately. I will say however that I don't think not allowing talk of competitors breaches any laws because they aren't saying you can't talk about them anywhere at all, just not here. This is a forum paid for by them so if they don't want competitors advertised, that's their right. In a physical world example, it'd be like walking into M&S and setting up a station advertising and telling people to go and shop at Primark instead. You'd quickly have management asking you to leave if you did that, and calling the police to have you removed if you refused. Do it outside the shop in a public place, absolute fine, they can't do anything about that, but inside their premises, they can absolutely tell you to go.
