  1. I'd love it as well.....sniff.......
  2. But what you have to remember Harry is that a lot of people come to these events from overseas and need to book flights, accommodation ect. In those cases the earlier you book the cheaper they are, that's why people get impatient to know. Also they don't want to book flights because they have to (time is running out) and then find out there will be no one they want to see.
  3. Thanks for the idea's. I had been into Forbidden Planet but they don't have the one I like any more, and the one's on Art are too small unfortunately (I'm looking for A3 size). I'll carry on looking. My Mistake - one of the Art ones is perfect! Thank you so much...
  4. I'm looking for a new Stargate poster but I'm having trouble finding any. I've looked on Allposters but don't like their selection. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good online place to get some? Preferably in the UK.
  5. Thank god you don't like them - I'd hate to see requests for those types of guests.
  6. And every one else in fact! Bring them ALL on.
  7. Thanks for the suggestions, think i'll just get a new poster.
  8. Peter's such a laugh it would be great to see him again, so bring him on....!
  9. Over the last 2/3 years I've been getting a poster signed (a Stargate one) but am getting to the point where it is going to be full soon. What do you all think the best option would be? To carry on getting that one signed, squeezing the sigs on wherever possible and risk it ending up looking naff and all squished or get another, different poster and start that one off. If I choose the second option, the second poster may end up being a bit sparser than the first one (which has about 45 sigs on) as I won't get repeat sigs on it and all the main actors have signed the first one. Any sugge
  10. Another one I'd love to meet would be Dom DeLuise. He was so good as Urgo.
  11. Ahhh yes, having looked it up I remember the original series. Don't think it will happen though as I don't think it was that well known/popular. Correct me if i'm wrong though.
  12. I'd be thrilled if they could get Ben or Claudia!
  13. I'd love to get Amanda over here but I would be highly suprised if she was at C8. I think it would be more realistic for her to be at LFCC4 or C9. There is another event that she has promised will be the first one she attends over here when she starts back on the circuit (because it had been postponed once already before she cancelled them all due to the pregnancy), and there hasn't been any news about that yet. So whilst I really support getting her over for one of SM's event's (She's about the only one I have not been fortunate to meet yet) I don't think it will be this one.
  14. Best in Show is on BBC2 tonight at 10.30. Teryl has a small part in it as a newswoman.
  15. I'd love the chance to meet Mitch P and Robert P
  16. or look here, photo's included. LFCC previous guests
  17. lol, yeah did think of that, i'll try at LFCC. I had considered Ebay for some stuff but just wondered if there were any other resources. And thanks for the reply!
  18. I'm clearing out my stuff and wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations for a few things. 1. Is anyone (shops or dealers) buying sci-fi books and magazines? 2. Are there any guides, online or up to date books that list what items are worth anything (specifically books and mags, not toys)? I know I saw one a few years ago, but don't know if they still do these kind of thing. Any help would be appreciated.
  19. Er we don't know how much they are. If you read the reply's so far no-one knows about them
  20. I've said this in another post, but seeing as it's relevant to Jolene's queue. I was only there for a short time on Saturday. The only problem I had was that I was amongst the first lot (well within the first 30) in the queue for Jolene that morning. 2 crew members started to give the tickets out using 2 different ticket books. When I got mine it was number 213! How could it be that high when I was amongst the first ones? She assured me that they weren't starting from low numbers so I though it was ok. However when we were called up they started from 50 like they usually do. However i
  21. It was all mostly fine in my opinion, but I was only there for a short time on Saturday.
