Because it's something completely different to pay 20 or 25 GBP for a personalized autograph and pay the same prize just for an illegible sig... SM have always been totally clear on the autograph policy. The prices quoted have always been per autograph. Autographs mean the guests signature. That does not automatically include a personalisation, a kiss, a hug, a conversation, a meal for 2 in a private restaurant or anything else. If you look at the autograph section under the website FAQ, it doesn't mention anything about personalisations. Most guests do personalise however there are those who won't for a variety of reasons. If a guest is not personalising it is often there decision and not SM's. Is there anything else you are unhappy with and would like to comment on?

SM are well aware that most of the people you have asked for are popular guests. They will and do get them if they can.

If they left you a little card to say they tried to deliver, check the small print. I'm sure you can have it redeliverd to an alternative address for a small fee.

That's what I thought. At the very least his significant other. The way I saw it was that she is involved with him but a long time in the Dr's future. It could simply be that she is with a future incarnation of him, but he may well have pictures of his previous incarnations. She knows it's him. Or that it's all retrospective, she's involved with the future Dr but that she has met his previous forms on their travels, in his current incarnations future.

I love Tennat's Dr and think these last few episodes have been excellent. I want to know who Alex Kingston's character was in relation to the Dr (other than what we found out in the ep obviously!) And i'm annoyed that I can't remembered any of the Bad Wolf stuff and how they left off before.

My sister and I love his books. I had stopped reading them a couple of years ago because I wanted to wait until the series was finished before reading through them. The books are so involved and there was a long gap between publications so it was very hard to remember what had happenend. It was going to be easier to wait untill completion than re read or only vaguely remember. It's such a shame that he's gone, I'll miss his work. I'm glad his family intend to finish the books though.

Well in that case as a pre booked early bird can I join the shortest queue? If I can be near the front of the pay on day crowd I can just flash my ticket and get in quicker Seriously though I get the arguement for both sides but I do have mixed feelings about this. One could argue that the pre bookers provide part of the finance to bring the guests over. By pre booking we are providing SM some guarunteed income, so it would be fairer to let them go in first, followed by the on the day earlys and standards.

I asked for authors ages ago. I'd love to meet Robert Jordan. And Anne Mccaffrey.

Once you have you VQ ticket and your number has come up you join the queue for the relevant guest. Before you get up to them there will be a table with photos on it, with some lovely volunteers sitting behind. You pay them, they give you a slip that indicates how many auto's you have paid for, and then you go up to the guest table, hand the slip to the other lovely volunteer sitting next to the guest and go for it!

No, I understand, just not sure their are any workable solutions without having a few phototgraphers in.

The problem is they don't have enough time! They have one photographer (i assume). If they separated it and had talks on saturday morning with the photo's in the afternoon people would still moan. With 6 guests, say each photo session ran for 30 mins you are still talking about it taking 3 hours. Any one who didn't want a photo would be complaining about the afternoon being wasted.

Surly you bring more with you than just the poster tube though? What about a bag with your stuff in? Just put both of them on the luggage shelf, you cant forget both surly if they are right next to eachother? I worry too much though. I know I won't forget it, I just worry that I will, so I find it easier to keep it with me! Silly I know. Maybe I can make myself to stop worrying so much

I was going to come and say your points where valid but then I actually read your sig and i'm not going to bother now. First off yoo defend yourself by saying you are the genre police. If that is the case why are you in an area specifically dedicated to RD saying they should have done a horror event. Last time I checked RD wasn't horror. Why not go to that area to make these comments! Whilst it is the film and comic con, there are already lots of guests that fulfil those criteria, it doesn't say anywhere else that they can't have other guests from other media. Also although it has been talked about for MANY MANY years, their was talk of a RD film. It could happen.

God, now you're testing me. Gal is 19 yo and I'm not sure of her height but she's probably somewhere over 12, Sol is 13.5 I think. My sister has wanted a Connemarra for ages, she likes native ponies. I saw the pic of Mister, he's lovely, he's got a sweet face. I like the name Dante, get that one
