As far as I'm aware we've never been told about Remus' back ground, so it could be him. I think JKR will (again) turn things on their head though, so I think it could very well be Snape. Like Voldy he has this hatred of muggle borns, but as we know Voldy had a muggle father who he hated. Maybe Snapes abusive father was a muggle, and it's that (like Voldy) that has fueled his hatred of muggles borns.

I agree, I think Sirius will turn up again in some way. I think the arch in the MoM is a huge clue to the whole series and it may very well be how Harry talks to Sirius.

The half Blood Prince was one of the possible titles for CoS. JKR decided that a lot of the plot about the Half Blood Prince would be better in Book 6 so removed it from CoS. So the 2 books are linked, you'd better get reading

I agree I want it now...... I'm just going on what happened with Books 4 and 5. It was a year between finding out the title and the actual release date.

I've thought for a while that Mark Evans maybe a red herring. And then when JKR put the question on her website so we could find out if Mark Evans was going to play a part in the future of HP, I knew he was. If he was going to be a big part of the series she would not be able to say so, so it made sense that he was a no body. Today I see that on her website she has confirmed that Mark Evans was just a name she picked, he is just a background charactor and has nothing to do with the series. AKA He is not the Half Blood Prince, Harry's brother/cousin or anything else. Stuart.

It's not a pre-order it's purely a notify me when it's available for pre-order. It was the same with book 5 OotP. It was 6 months between the notification coming up on the site and the actual pre-order page being there. It was then another 6 month before the release date. When I was at CM4 I was stood talking to the guy that owns the Uniquities shop/stall. He was telling me that he was one of the sponsers of the show and so got to meet some of the guests afterwards. Just then one of the SM guys came over (he had a CM4 organisers t-shirt on). They were talking about how much of a nightmare it had been to organise getting all of the hobbits there at once but how well it had gone with having the hobbits there. And how the crowds had been mad. The SM guy then said "Imagine what it'll be like when we get Orlando?" I thought it maybe for CM5 but it wasn't so you never know........CM6? But then again it may have been for CM5 and have fallen apart

It has pretty much been scraped as being a hoax. Someone in the US has made a video of themselves getting into the room behind the "Do Not Disturb" sign on JKR website. On it they have a letter that is supposedly written by JKR, saying that the next book title is "HP and the Pillar of Storge". But there are a large number of errors/discrepancies with the page/letter that make it appear to be a fake. Also I don't think JKR would give her book such a hard to pronounce and to understand title. Come on, they had to change the Philosophers stone to Sorcerers Stone in the US. How many people are going to know that Storge (pronounced Stor-gee) is Greek for parental love? Stuart.

Another thing you could do is use the on-screen Keyboard: To open On-Screen Keyboard, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to Accessibility, and then click On-Screen Keyboard. Then click on SHIFT and then the ~ button. When did you stopping being able to use the ~ symbol. Did you change any settings on your PC or is it just the dead key? If it's not a dead key make sure you have your laugauge set to English UK and not US. Because they have a different keyboard layout than us and you'll find that the ~ on a US keyboard is in the top left hand corner the one below the Esc key. Stuart.

Nell, Just a thought. Why not copy your name from the forum (highlight and CNTL c) and then paste (CNTL V) it into text pad note then save it on your desktop. Then if you get logged out you can simply open the text file, copy it and paste it back in to the logon page. Hope that helps, Stuart.

It could very well be the frogs that did it. Decomposing fat will cling to you like a bast@rd. Try lemon juice, it does work, I used to work in the care industry and worked with people that had to deal with this kind of smell (I was lucky all my patients were alive). As an aside they also mentioned it in an episode of CSI when Sarah was working on a case were they found a guy in a bag. Stuart.
