  1. I second this. I'm a big fan of the US Office and thought she was excellent in that. I would love to see her at a Showmasters event soon.
  2. I'd love to see Aidan Turner at an event. I've met the other main stars of Being Human (and they were both excellent guests) so he would round off my collection very nicely. A very talented actor.
  3. I've recently got into this really excellent show and would love to see any of the regular cast at an event. I realsie Steve Carrell may be unrealistic but mabe some of the others would be attainable?
  4. I'd love to see Bernard Cribbins back, and Noel Clarke as well. Either (or both) would be most welcome.
  5. Good call. Get's my vote.
  6. Fantastic announcement. I'm very pleased with this. Thanks and well done, SM.
  7. Jessica Hynes and Mark Heap from Spaced would be excellent, as would Peter Serafinowicz from SotD.
  8. I was first to meet her on Sunday (more by luck than design) and I had no problem at all. She was very friendly and polite, took her time to sign my photo and wished me a good day as I left. Not the chattiest guest I've met but certainly left me with a very positive impression.
  9. Well done Guys on running an excellent show. Great venue,a very good guest line up and plenty of stalls added up to a very enjoyable weekend and a great atmosphere on both days. There seem to be very few negative comments at all on here, which is a tribute to the organisation and hard work of all those who helped out (we are, after all notoriously difficult to please!) Thanks to you all.
  10. I met him on Saturday and he was very pleasant. Not the most talkative guest but shook my hand and was very polite.
  11. Great news . Another sig for my Torchwood cast photo. Thanks SM.
  12. Its a terrific film. A re-union would be excellent.
  13. Any of the cast of Frasier or Cheers would be most welcome. In addition to those mentioned John Ratzenberger and George Wendt would be excellent.
  14. You could equally argue Graham gooch was as big a legend. The England team may not have been at its best but during his period as captain his own performances were outstanding. His century off of the West Indies at Headingley was ranked by the ICC as the finest test innings ever played.
  15. Any chance of John Ratzenberger in particular? He's almost a regular voice artist for Pixar films (and would appeal to Star wars fans too).
  16. Very good addition to an increasingly impressive line up. Well done SM!
  17. Wonderful guest announcement. I'm really excited about this. Such a terrific actor. Many thanks SM.
  18. This is great news. He's the one guest I regret most not meeting before when I had the chance. My girlfriend is going to be thrilled too. Thanks SM.
  19. Excellent guest - they don't make them like Mr Close anymore....
  20. Great to see some cricket guests. I'm a huge fan of Graham Gooch and will be looking forward to meeting one of the greatest batsmen of my lifetime. Thanks SM
  21. Excellent news - another for my Ashes to Ashes collection. Thanks SM.
  22. Great news. I loved him in A Bridge Too Far.
  23. For me the best guests I met were Keeley Hawes (Saturday) and Eve Myles (Sunday). Two terrific ladies who were so friendly and appeared happy to chat and make you feel special. Excellent guests who made my day(s). Also special mention to Scott Bakula, despite being very busy he was extremely courteous and an absolute gent. I haven't seen too many comments here about Jimmy Jean Louis but I'd like to add that he was great too. A terrific smile, a big hearty laugh and a lovely sense of humour.
  24. David Soul, Bernard Cribbins, Noel Clarke, Dean Andrews and Toby Jones would all do very nicely, please.
  25. Bingo! Excellent news - just the extra name the event needed for me. Thanks SM.
