  1. Thanks for clearing that up, Queen Sindel. So presumably in the auto queue, it will just say DP Batch 1 then DP Batches 1 and 2 etc. instead of the 1-30 numbering system you've had in the past? Also, the DPs won't be numbered anymore but will they say our Batch number on them?
  2. I have just done a pretend order for a few guests' photos and Diamonds just to see how busy they are (I have already bought them in most cases) and there were things that confused me/worried me: John Simm - His Diamond Pass photo batches say Batch 1-6 unavailable, start selecting from Batch 7 up to 12. Have that many DPs (presumably around 300 if batches are 50) already been sold and will the store really allow another 300 to be sold (although it may not get up that high anyway depending on those left to purchase closer to the event). For his normal photo shoot tickets, he is on Batch 5 so that is a hell of a lot of photos already for someone who is a 1 day guest (obviously a popular one but still). Peter Mayhew - His Sunday DP lists Batch 1 as available but then has Batch 4 as Not Available, with no Batch 2 or 3... Bernard Cribbins - Again on Diamond, currently lists Batch 1 and Batch 3 as Not Available but you can select Batch 2 in the middle of them. At the moment, no Batch higher than 3 listed. As I said, these things seem a bit odd but may be Eventbrite store errors, especially the latter two?
  3. Alex Kingston is doing a play in the West End, starting on the 28th Feb. No performance on the Sunday...………just saying
  4. A great replacement for Charles Dance (as much as he can be replaced). Diamond definitely. Also, it's Downton Abbey.
  5. It came up for Bernard Cribbins but when I originally bought passes for the earlier announced DP guests like Charles Dance and Jack Gleeson, it was just the normal thing of no batches (and choice of day for Jack Gleeson). I looked again just now and there still isn't a batch option for them. Will one be implemented and those who've already bought effectively be Batch 1?
  6. Just got my Diamond Pass. It asked me to select a batch number for the photos, which it doesn't normally??? I just did Batch 1 regardless.
  7. I just bought my tickets for the Saturday and like people above, I found that John Leeson's photo shoot for the Saturday wasn't listed.
  8. What's the email address for asking for a refund for the Peter Mayhew shoot?
  9. Thank you to all of the crew and the organisers. All of the crew members I spoke to throughout the day were very friendly and helpful even in stressful situations (especially at the end of the day). The queue was well organised at the start of the day, as I got there for 7:45 and people were moved together to make more room and we were let in at 9 on the dot. Moving around between the two photo areas and the guest signing are took some getting used to but I managed in the end. It would be any DW fan's dream to meet the Doctor so to meet seven of them (as well as knowing there was an eighth somewhere in the building) as well as three companions was amazing. Hopefully I will come to more of these now, as I have the bug now from LFF and LFCC.
  10. I was in Christopher Eccleston's auto queue from 16:50 - 17:15, they were just trying to get through all of the Diamonds while debating what to do about his TARDIS photo shoot, which was meant to start at 5 but as we all know, Matt's overran. They said Chris was meant to leave at 6, which is why I didn't want to come back later so just managed to get Chris's autograph before rushing over to be the very last of David Bradley's photo shoot (seriously, he was sitting there on his phone, all other people gone apart from the crew and one or two waiting to pick up the one with Colin and Paul from earlier). Matt didn't return to his signing area until after 17:30 but got in his queue with my 66 pass and then was finally allowed into Peter's queue coming up to 18:00. It was stressful getting them all within the last 90 minutes of the day but had no choice, my Eccleston and Capaldi numbers were too high, Matt's was on 1-50 for ages and I was very busy with shoots throughout the day. The chaos of Matt and Peter did allow me to get Bonnie, Colin, Rory McCann, Paul McGann and Peter Davison in the space of 15 minutes, as they had little to no queue for the last official 15 mins of the day.
  11. I was going to ask did he cancel his Sunday appearance but then reading this thread, I saw that he was only there on the Friday with his Allo Allo co-stars, which makes sense. However, this wasn't updated on his page so I spent a little bit of time at the start of the day looking for him, luckily not too long. A shame, as I hoped to get him to sign something for my sister, who loves the show.
  12. Thanks, that's reassuring. It's going to be crazy tomorrow (especially for Whovians) and it sounds like some guests stayed beyond 6 today, even non-Diamonds.
  13. A question regarding Diamond Passes (I did post it elsewhere but will post it here again anyway). In the event of you attending for the duration of the day (tomorrow 9-6), doing your best to obtain but STILL not being able to get your guaranteed in-person autograph for the Diamond Guest because of a slow queue, you and them being busy with photo shoots, talks etc., is it possible to have a partial refund on the autograph price within the Diamond Pass cost?
  14. I think I remember reading you can't transfer VQTs to the next day, in any case.
  15. Just out of interest, let's say you were only going on Saturday with a Peter Capaldi diamond pass and you don't get your autograph (or your photo, although that's perhaps less likely). Do you get any kind of refund, given that your so-called 'guaranteed autograph' didn't happen. Admittedly in this instance you wouldn't get the talk either so there's that too, although that was clear from the information.
  16. Given my number for Capaldi, I'm glad to hear it is the first one, although my similar number for Eccleston has me more concerned now. I have a low Matt Smith one so he is less of a problem (theoretically). My pass specifically says Sunday, presumably because of the photo selected at checkout. It is worth pointing out that Capaldi's DPs are still on sale at the time of writing.
  17. Does anyone have an idea of how many of Peter's Diamonds are around today, as I would expect more to be around tomorrow with it being the Who day so just curious to see if he gets through a load today to make tomorrow (slightly) easier?
  18. As in the Olympia West entrance opposite the station?
  19. Can someone confirm which door is the exit (from Friday or today when leaving), it would be nice to know in advance?
  20. According to the con's FB and Twitter, the Sam Neill JP green screen photo shoot has now been cancelled for today and tomorrow. FB: *Guest Photo update* Unfortunately the Sam Neill with Jurassic Park shoot will no longer take place either today or tomorrow. Refunds can be processed at the Sales Desk.
  21. Shame, as it may be my only chance to meet him if I can't get a good VQ. Ah well, at least I don't have to bring my JP shirt just for that! It says on FB that refunds can be dealt with at the sales desk, is it possible to get it issued online after the event, as I would rather not queue up at the sales desk just to do that?
  22. I am not surprised he isn't doing photos, as I remember reading in an interview that he feels awkward in them, particularly when with the actors! Still, I'm glad he's coming, hopefully can get him to sign my Day of the Doctor novelisation (along with Matt Smith) . Unless he does a talk, the fact he is only doing autographs will hopefully help his queue to move consistently.
  23. I guess that explains why he was not on the updated schedule. Ah well, I will consider going in March, especially as Sylvester McCoy is also down for it atm. I hope Peter makes a full recovery soon.
