I was so surprised while in queues people having a go at the crew when they turned up late to a photo shoot and expecting the guest still to be there. one guy while I was in Wil Wheaton queue was having a right go at the pit boss who was handling it really well and from what I heard and understand he had bought a good few ops etc but hadnt actually planned anything eg checking schedule.. nasically he just expected to rock up and do everything to his schedule....seriously!!! how can people spend this amount of money and not take time to find out information/prepare in adance. i remember my first con and spent ages researching and stalking the fb and twotter pages.and forums and planning it all out well in advance.

I am small too and I do like when the guest comes down a bit particularly a tall guest as photos dont look quite right otherwise and always need to be take long ways. most do but a couple havent but I havent said anything or asked for re-shoot I just dont frame or display those ones.

as far as I know, all tickets are clearly stated at the time of selling as non-refundable/ transferable or for reselling.. only time refunds really given is if guest cancels or the talk was cancelled specifically.

yesterday a couple of the booths asked if we wanted one rather than giving automatically which I agree is a better idea.

ahaha yes she is wrapped around me in my photo. i love it. she wasn't long in letting photographer know she wasnt gonna be rushed thats for sure. lol

and most prob got thrown away. I personally didnt use mine as i put my photos into a protector as do not want them damaged. seen people sitting theres down and leaving them and a few people picking them up to use them.. but yes today in our PM shoots we didnt get them.

Apologies you had such a bad experience and also your daughter. in regards to no touching some guests do have that not all are tactile but above that he is known germaphobe so def no touching. he was great on my solo shoot still being friendly and warm w/out having to shake hands etc and he is happy to do non touchy poses such as wacky thumbs up he did in mine and a few others :)

Shame people missed out but with last minute cancellstions and as QS says staff out of office not a great deal more could be done. its why I like to check the forum every now and then when having a water break etc while at the con as its good for keep up to date with any changes. not wasy to always check I kniw but every now and then is enough :)

I got her auto yesterday and she was so nice. seemed really happy to be there and meet everyone asking questions/commenting on peoples cos play and outfits etc. then today at her photo shoot which was held up as guest prior to her was late she said to the photographer she wasnt going to be rushed and she will be saying hi to everyo etc. why should her fans lose out due to someone else being late. loved that...she rocks. she greeted me warmly and asked my name and thanked me for coming by name after photo was taken and my photo is brilliant. amazing and lovely woman :)

the guys this afternoon at photo area A were really good. handled the steven yuen photo shoot well keeping things going smoothly and quickly. Also the woman in Area D with quick back to back short shoots she kept things flowing well.... well until Selwyn was late lol

I do agree the bag checking was poor. we didnt get checked any day...even today when we arrived at 10am as our first shoot wasnt until 12.20 and we have all autos we want already..and no kne was queuing etc so no reason not to bag check us and we were told just to go straight through. on sat the guy did go to bag check us but just at that someone came up and told him to start checkig 2 in every 10 bags so wavex us in again.

think for hotel for 4 nights (we arrived thursday) and flights alone we were about 550 for that alone.

i dont even want to try add it up between flights, hotel a few diamond passes and gold pass and some autos I am scared to lol

Kevin Smith I think is great but in regards to time-keeping and signing he is ridiculous. all well and great having loads interation with thise that are lycky enough to meet you but try having a balance....plenty others have a great balance between making fans days with a bit of interation but also getting through a good few autos. take mads mik for example. really disappointed with Kevin

I think the issue using the talk area inbetween is getting it cleared and ready in time for next talk. also maybe something the venue would provide rather than SM themselves but not sure. anyway its fun collapsing on the floor for 5mins and then even funnier trying to get back up lol

Yes! I was in the Kevin Smith auto queue at the time and just heard the noise then the commotion. so glad no one was hurt.

havent mentioned the biggest issue of all.... A celing tile FALLING down thankfully no one was hit. no idea how they werent tho as it was in the busy auto area near RDA/Alyson Hannigan etc.

personally i have loved all the ones i have gone to.... all have given special moments that wont forget. have they all been perfect? no, but i guess its kinda to be expected when dealing with so many people etc. my favourites from this year has been my terence stamp photo I freaking LOVE it and alan tudyk auto he had a great interaction with me and my husband.

None of photo shoots were in Area D and all went smoothly with batches being called may just be an isolated misunderstanding in that area.

I am heading in later tomorrow as have all autos I want and my first shoot isnt until 12 noon (ish)... well I do want Keven Smiths auto but despite having a low Vq ticket today and going back to his queje many times and one time standing from 2.45 until 3.40 and he hadn't arrived in thag time when he was meant to be back at 3.15 I have gave up trying lol if it happens tomorrow it happens but I want shorter more chilled out day tomorrow lol

Maybe the Tesco not far away will sell them if not, if you pass that on way to the con :)

Not something I seen at any stalls but then I wasnt looking for them. I am not sure if there would be any for sale as no need really as all auto tables have the ones etc. but i am.not 100% sure but have not oticed them over frisay or today or even previous LFCCs.

we exited the gold pass entrance. which was the aame one we came in as gold pass holders. not sure which one we tried to exit initially we were so tired and ready to collapse at the hotel lol

No... with Diamond guests gold pass holders need VQ tickets for these guests autos. for non diamond guests then Gold do not need a VQ ticket and can join the back of auto queue anytime. for photos : for diamond guests diamond passes go first then gold then standard batches. for non diamond guests the gold get called first then standard batches
