He did sign, but he was called back to theatre earlier than expected and didn't even get through all the DP holders! I believe anyone going tomorrow can use their DP then, so I suspect anyone hoping to get him on VQ might be SOOL. -
Hearing some real issues with entry ticket overselling, hope everyone got in okay.
-
Yeah was looking for her yesterday and a mate of mine told me she was still filming in Italy, hence only able to make it Sunday

Tony was announced cancelled on FB on Wednesday -
Basically with the building works and boards and scaffolding up, you go left, walk all the way up to the top where the main road is, and then loop back down the other side of the barriers to the entrance.
-
And you had to loop around the scaffold and works to get there...
-
Almost at Olympia now…
-
Were you? I certainly wasn’t iirc. Just walked in, bag search, scan ticket and into show.

Autograph Pre-Orders......too late???

No it’s usually either the Friday before or the Monday start of week before con when the shop for that closes. Basically items have to arrive by then as Jason usually travels Wednesday from Wales to be at the event. -
Disappointed about Michael, been waiting to meet him for ages, hadn't decided what I was going to get him to sign (maybe a copy of Splinter Cell). Have to wait until Winter, fingers crossed I can go.
-
Usually says “no posed photos” if selfies are not allowed. “No photos” in itself means no photos in any situation, even while waiting in the queue, or the speciality of the flipper, proof the item was signed by the person they are doing it for.
-
Usually with scribbles and lines on where last minute changes have been made.

The daft thing is, unless it’s an uber high end surgical grade mask, it’s not going to protect you. It’s designed to stop you infecting others. The concept of universal mask wearing was to massively prevent transmission vectors, not reception vectors. With barely anyone wearing masks, wearing one yourself is going to do nothing to stop you catching covid. Just respect for meeting guests and protecting them.
-
Celebration just gone in California required masks and only about half were actually wearing inside, they just took them off. Apparently SDCC is requiring masks and covid negative tests, have to see how that goes in due course later this month. And those are the only two events this year I’m aware of that have has any sort of protective requirement. So I’m not predicting anything else, left to your discretion based on how Spring event went. All the staff were wearing, very few others were, even the guests.

It’s gonna be DP or nothing to meet him quite possibly -
Generally, they’ve limited anyone on VQ to three but there may be exceptions
-
Anyone Diamond or VQ is normally three.
-
Check the schedule for when the photo shoot is listed. Could be multiple slots per day. They always start with Diamond passes (if the guest has one), gold pass holders then regular photo shoot tickets. Your ticket should have a batch number on it to indicate roughly when in proceedings you will be able to queue up during this period.

You only need a VQ if you want more than three autographs. -
That would slow everyone right up…
-
They will say in advance. It’s usually been the Olympia desk kiosk near the station exit.
-
Adrian Paul was at the Spring event, guess you didn’t go to that?
