  1. What usually happens... Yes yes, she’s only four. But daddy, I’m five!
  2. As someone who has been to locations used for filming in the first couple of seasons of the show, and seen the GL car owned by Ben Jones (Cooter), almost all the cars used in the show (over 300) were destroyed in the process, mostly from the stunts heh. There’s very few actual “were used in filming” vehicles left out there, let alone any in complete condition.
  3. As noted, I’ve found last hour of the day can be the best time, but depends if the guest is still there or not!
  4. To add, the service runs every 15 minutes and takes about 30 minutes to get there. Note that some services then carry on further south to the coast, and don’t terminate at Gatwick, so make sure you get off in plenty of time
  5. Yes, the Gatwick Express for the most part
  6. Victoria line doesn’t go to Earls Court. You’ll need to change at Victoria for the District line there, westbound to Earls Court. I’d say you had another option in getting off at Oxford Circus, going west on the Central line to Shepherds Bush, and then down on the Overground, but apparently that overground line section is under engineering works Saturday/Sunday, and thus won’t be viable.
  7. If we are listing Doctors, then I have met 3*, 5, 6, 7, 8, War, and 10**. Sadly I was occupied this weekend (brother in law's 40th birthday!) to make it to LFF to see Tom. * I was quite young, and I only knew Pertwee as Worzel Gummidge at the time (before I knew he was a Doctor, I had started watching the show at the end of Tom's run), we happened to meet him in the street and have a quick chat with him. ** David was doing SDCC, and I caught him outside of the event halls between panels, enough time for a quick thank you and shake of the hand for his work on the show.
  8. Yes, proper trains, it’s the orange routes on the map.
  9. Hopefully this returns. Hopefully doesn’t impact my ability to still see him Friday heh. But for once I may queue early for a VQ, never done that before! Met him nearly ten years ago in San Diego, we had a good chat as he wasn’t expecting to meet anyone British out there! Might have also helped that I was right after someone dressed in a terrific Snake Eyes costume (so probably when the first GI Joe film came out), so he was a bit gee’d up after that heh.
  10. Thanks for the heads up! I’m only planning on going Friday so far, but if that changes, then very useful to know. My route has been up to Clapham and then the Overground to Olympia because it’s way quicker and more frequent than anything else. It’s the easiest route. Sunday trains run less often, especially from Olympia, but that would be the way, the Gatwick Express begins at Victoria. You’d want the right hand section of the platforms, there’s a big sign saying where you need to go to catch it heh. Despite all the problems with Southern (and my journey INTO London will be via them!), the GE tends to be one of the least affected.
  11. Friday is now 10-7 instead of 9-6 as previous years. As noted above, you pick up your photo when you exit the photo shoot area. There is thus nothing stopping you from using that as an item to have Meatloaf sign if you get the photo shoot done first! Your diamond pass guarantees one signature already paid for, you will be able to purchase up to four (or five?) more if you choose at the time of queueing up.
  12. The comic guests may have a few things available to be signed, but generally they are relying on the guests to bring their own items to sign. Some comic artists may charge for signatures too, but they tend to be the very popular, high profile individuals.
  13. Will also add, for some guests, they won't sign unauthorised or unapproved images. There was a bit of an issue at Collectormania regarding Ray Park and any shots from Solo, which obviously he is quite entitled to refuse. Hopefully there may be some official images from that film in time for LFCC.
  14. As mentioned earlier in the thread, finally had the chance to get it up digitally...! https://www.flickr.com/photos/mayhemers/42855236301/in/album-72157603543346959/
  15. Website says Tom is only going to be there 12-4, so I don’t think not making it for 9 is going to be a problem.
  16. I just recommend not asking “will you marry me?” here
  17. When the con scene was fledgling in the UK, in the late 90s, and I was getting some sigs from Star Wars actors such as Kenny Baker, Jeremy Bulloch and the like, they were charging £2 or £3 each. I think I got seven autographs from Jeremy for a twenty back then. Prices started to slowly go up around 2000, and now a tenner is the basic minimum for pretty much anyone who was a background character. But prices have fluctuated, I recall Ian McDiarmid charging more when he first started signing in the mid 2000s compared to now. Mark Hamill has really shot up last couple of years, he was $100 when I met him ten years ago.
  18. I had to laugh at that to get around the silly word filter Duck Jones is wanted for murder! Maybe have to get a send-in for Peter then... my Robocop trilogy might work...!
  19. Anyone relating to Star Wars that I haven't met before. Plus Ray Park as I need more sigs from him heh. And the 'Allo 'Allo trio!
  20. Yes, was only talking about Friday heh...
  21. Well, no, because it opens an hour later too heh. It just may work in some people’s benefit like myself who are planning to stay until the end, and people may leave earlier for other commitments. Meaning less queueing on some of the bigger stars in the last hour or so!
  22. I met Ray about ten years ago in San Diego and would like to get a couple more sigs at LFCC, but I suspect if I have to get there early for one VQ, it may well be him. Everyone else I want to meet will be much easier by comparison!
  23. As I’m only planning to be there Friday, running later works for me to try and fit everyone in heh...
