Wow just wow. I don't think you'll have anything to worry about, as it seems they're only about 11 years old to be honest.

S.H.R.E.K I noticed late on that a standard photo wasn't included and by the time I tried to buy one they were sold out. I just checked again today and Eventbrite have them on sale so I was able to get one. Not sure if that's any use but in case you also thought were sold out. I haven't had the e-ticket validation thingymibob so I have the email for that comes through before Sunday as I will have limited email access. Thanks, yup just done the same. I was just going to turn up tomorrow and queue jump with pass and pay. But on the off chance they are funny about that as tickets sold out I've booked up for the Sunday straight after the talk now.

ah, that's a point I've never even thought where I'm going to put pics n that. I just assumed there'd be good solid bags, are the pics in a cardboard card / letter or have any protection with them?

Hands down Sigourney Weaver for me, never dreamt I would ever get the opportunity to see her in the flesh never mind having photos taken and attending her talks.

Has anyone ever had any problems before with using American express at previous events?

All booked up and can't wait, I'm not even a big horror fan either. I just couldn't turn down the opportunity to meet such a massive cult horror character like Freddy in the flesh. Especially when it's rumoured this could be his last appearance in full character for some time. Definitely one to be framed and hung up on the wall. I thought a normal photo without the make up might have been included in the Diamond package like the autograph, but that's just a tiny tiny moan from me as nothing can be 100% perfect can it ;-P Thanks to the organisers once again for the opportunity.

Well it's easily done I guess, there are about 4 / 5 pubs close to the event. Does anyone know which ones are the better ones and which ones to avoid? Why not just head over to the pub where everyone is meeting on the Sat? Seen as it's been good enough to cater for us on the Sat night. I'm also another one who wouldn't mind ending the Friday night with a pint or two after a long day travelling.

Is there usually some genuine people around trying to sell their spare tickets early on in the day?

The sales booth can accept credit cards for photos and talks, yes. Please check the signs on the day though, there may be cash only lines. Had a look around and can't find this answer- do you know if the vouchers photo / autographs credit card table take American Express? Had a few problems with places not accepting it recently.

S.H.R.E.K I'd like to be added to the standby list for any late dropouts if that's ok thanks. First ever event, only getting to the Friday so far but would still like to give the Saturday after party drink a go.
