  1. I was in batch 1 of her first Sunday photo shoot and got her autograph early afternoon. She was smiley and pleasant, but didn't seem like she wanted to speak to people. She looked exhausted (obviously still beautiful though) which wasn't surprising given how in-demand she was. I didn't expect any small talk from her as she seemed so busy which was a bit disappointing. The guy in front of me was totally gutted though. I think he was really excited to meet her and had things he wanted to say but after a "Hello" and "Thanks for coming" she turned her attention to me before he had the chance to say anything.
  2. Narrowed my suggestions down to a few... Why not have a photoshoot area on level 3? Then the guests that are located up there will be able to get there much quicker. The location of the photo areas just seemed to make no sense at all. If the venue is going to be so unbearably hot, PLEASE have water on sale for a reasonable price. Schedule batches for a certain time. e.g. Batch 1 - 14:00, Batch 2 - 14:15. Then for a later shoot Batch 3 - 17:15. That way it avoids all the people with higher batches turning up and clogging up the area for the first shoot.
  3. I really hope they get her back for a future event. I'll happily pay to meet her again.
  4. If this was the guy managing the queue for the first Rose Leslie shoot, I agree he kept things running smoothly. Very blunt when I arrived and asked if I could queue with a batch 1 ticket with an answer of "NO!", but I appreciate he was just doing everything he could to keep things organised. I didn't speak to many of the crew, but another that I thought did a good job was the one managing Rose's autograph queue on Sunday afternoon. Didn't get his name, but he was the asian guy, that's all I can remember. He was getting a lot of flack from a lot of people and was being asked the same questions every 20 seconds but he remained friendly and helpful throughout.
  5. I felt so rude as I asked if she could sign a picture and she said "Well, only if you're planning to say hello to me first". She was the first guest I spoke to and I had a total mind blank when I walked up to the table. Regretted it all day, I hope I have the chance to meet her again.
  6. So what happened, someone said he got through all of the VQ tickets and someone else said he didn't get through any.. I left really disappointed as the crew said I had no chance of getting an autograph even with a VQ ticket of around 200
  7. Thought of one more question.. Will I be allowed to get two VQ tickets for Carice? My girlfriend will be in a photo shoot so was hoping I could pick up a ticket for us both. Thanks
  8. Thanks, I think I'll skip the first carice shoot and get VQ tickets instead to make sure I get what I want.
  9. I know Hayley Atwell will be, I'm not sure about Rose Leslie though as I imagine she'll be busy today? Also anyone know about Carice Van Houten? Just wondering whether I need to go and get one ASAP when I get inside
  10. Can anyone advise on how I can avoid taking stairs that will end up leading me outside?
  11. Wow that sounds like a nightmare. Is that really the only way to get to the higher levels? What if there's a fire? This is a bit off topic but didn't want to start a new thread so was hoping someone here might know. If I'm walking from Hammersmith tube station, where do I need to go to get to the general admission queue? Is it on the opposite side of the venue, or will they be queuing in my direction? Thanks.
  12. Will the floor plan still be accurate tomorrow other than photo area A? Where has the area been moved to in relation to other things on that floor?
  13. I'm totally dreading tomorrow now as it sounds like it wasn't very fun for a lot of people. Is there anything I need to know that would make things easier? Are the photo areas really hard to find? It looks like I have zero chance of getting a Christopher Lloyd autograph. Rose Leslie is now in question as she'll be so busy. What was Hayley Atwell like queue wise?
  14. How will this affect people with tickets for her tomorrow? Will Saturday tickets get priority and we'll have to wait longer? Really worried I'll miss out in an autograph too cos she'll be so busy.
  15. There seems to be a lot of people complaining about being stuck outside and missing photo shoots. I'm dreading tomorrow. I don't know what I can do to make sure I make a 9:30 photo shoot other than turn up at 4am.
  16. Do you mean only that many VQ tickets were claimed or that's only the number that the guests managed to get through?
  17. I'm sure this thread will be deleted too, but the basic jist of the issue was - very poor organisation resulting in it taking a long time for gold pass guests to get inside.
  18. Someone said that one of the photo shoot areas had moved to the opposite side of the venue. Can anyone say which one this is and roughly where it's been moved to? I have a few photos booked quite close together on Sunday morning so I want to make sure I don't go to the wrong place if my printed map isn't going to be accurate. Thanks.
  19. American cons can do that because the distance isn't that difficult to get the guests to their events. Getting an American-based guest on a transatlantic flight and able to take that much time off isn't as easy on this side of the pond. I know, I wasn't thinking of NPH specifically. There are plenty of London based actors that would make a great addition.
  20. Wow I had no idea it could be THAT short notice. I've been checking the forum constantly this week in the hope that an amazing guest is announced to make up for the cancellations. Seems unlikely now, although I'm sure an American con announced Neil Patrick Harris with one days notice recently.
  21. Rachel Nichols would be a nice replacement and I don't think she's working on anything at the moment. Her attending as a guest seems too amazing to be realistic though
  22. I sometimes wonder, and I'm not saying this because I think it's the case or to be bitchy, if the guests just decide they can't be bothered when it gets closer to the event. I'm no expert but I'd assume it takes a lot of planning before a TV show begins filming. Surely they can't have a schedule change that results in filming commencing with 3 days notice. I don't know, it's just a thought that crossed my mind before.
  23. Just get Emilia Clarke and we'll call it even
  24. This isn't photo shoot related, but didn't want to start a new thread just for a small question. If photos aren't permitted at the signing tables, are there different signs that specify what is/isn't allowed? e.g. Some signs would say no photos AT ALL and others may just say no posed photos. Just curious as there are a couple of photo shoots I haven't been able to get due to clashes so will hopefully get them at the tables.
  25. Is there likely to be a queue to get a queue ticket? I can imagine that would be everyones first task as soon as they get in to the venue.
