How can you pick someone as you only meet for a very short time. my favourites are jessie cave, craig charles, jeff rawle. Met chris ryan today and got autograph, he was mike from the young ones and one of the driscoll brothers in only fools and horses, he is really small but really nice.

You must really like david hasslehoff as you have him twice in your signature!!

Had a great day in Cardiff yesterday at the event. Arrived at the arena early and queued in front of 2 Ghostbusters, queue moved quickly even though we did not pre book tickets. Ron ashton-Griffiths said good morning to my wife. I wore my Harry Pitter studio t-shirt. Met Jessie Cave first and she was great and said she loved my t-shirt and she signed my autograph book, a signed photo and got a pic of her with my wife. We then met Jeff Rawle whowas very good and got a signed pic, autograph book and photo with the wife. We met Myanna Burring who signed a photo from Twilight and a pic with my wife. Bought 3 protectors for signed pics. Had photo with Rr2D2. Took photo of the delorian car. Will be back for our fifth event in November!!

What does this mean for people without early bird tickets can they still queue up?

Autograph for me everytime. As well you get a signed photo you can also take a photo of you with the star. I keep my autograph book in my coat at all times as you never know who you will bump into. I will be going to my 4th convention on 21st March - all in Cardiff.

Hi there, I have been to all the conventions in Cardiff so am somewhat a veteran now. Advice: go early, get early bird tickets, go straight to your favourite stars when you go in. Cash machines within 5 minute walk in town centre, loads of parking (well signposted), loads of food places near venue. Check weather as it was chucking it down last one (umbrella needed). Trains (2 stations, Queen St & Central) very close. If you're getting a signed photo, make sure you buy a protector which was available for £1 and keeps your photo safe. Taking the wife as usual, i want to meet: Jessie Cave & Jeff Rawle from Harry Potter. My wife wants to meet: James Masters (spike from Buffy) and the one from Twilight.

Hi, What about Simon Fisher-Becker, he was the Fat Friar in Harry Potter and was in Dr Who, the magician in one foot in the grave, he is doing an event on 25 Jan in Wales (penarth pavillion) so would be a great guest. Going to meet the Cardiff Panto stars tomorrow to get autographs: the celebs are: Lee Mead, Linda Lusardi, Sam Kane, Gareth Thomas (rugby player) and Mike Doyle & Andy Jones (both comedians). Will be meeting Jessie Cave, wife wants to meet James Marsters!

Would like to see more Harry Potter: Rhys Ifans - Mr Lovegood. Also in Amazing spider-man. Mark Williams - Mr Weasley. Also in Dr Who & Stardust & Red Dwarf. Evanna Lynch - Luna Lovegood. Tom Felton - Draco Malfoy. Some sports guests would be nice.

We got to venue at 8.45 but was raining hard and the wife had to buy an umbrella. We joined the queue (without tickets) and didn't wait long to get in. We went straight to the guests and found their were very short queues. We met Craig Charles, then Shirley Henderson (she put 'ghosts rule' on her signed photo). Loved the car from Transformers!! I bought my wife a tribble which was voice/sound activated. It was very full with people in amazing costumes. Had a brilliant convention and will definitely go next year.

I have been looking at the guests announced so far and not happy with this. Not into GOT , Star Wars or Dr Who. Wife wants to meet Craig Charles and neice wants to meet Sylvester McCoy. The guest for me will be Shirley Henderson. Only others interested in are Noel Clarke (too expensive) and Bonnie Langford (not there on saturday). I am sure by the time it comes around there will be more for me to get. We did not have sports guests at the last convention. Any reason for this?

Hello, This will be my 3rd convention. Meeting the stars can be expensive but it is worth the wait. It does get really busy at times but head to the middle and get tickets for the celebs you want to meet when you get in. The stalls are really good with loads to buy. There will be loads of people in costumes, a great Johnny Depp pirate at the last one! They always have a car from a film on show (batmobile & dukes of hazard so far, delorian next?). Looking for more Harry Potter guests but loads of dr who at the moment. Come early to queue and you can stay for hours.
