  1. Thank you, but it was also my fault as I was in a rush for a photoshoot and didn’t fully inspect the picture until later that evening. I’ll just have to come back next year
  2. Today I asked the crew what the VQ number was for David and he told me they were up to 245 followed by ‘but nobody is here so go right ahead’. I was shocked, but very happy as I wasn’t expecting to get his autograph. Friendly at the table, quick but that is just the way it is :)
  3. Honest feedback, I liked the concept but the set was a bit empty. Also it would been cool if the lights were on. But my biggest issue was that the lightning was very poor, dark sofa combined with my dark jeans and shirt resulted in no recognisable body. I seemed to merge with the dark blob that was the sofa. Very Stranger Things but not great.
  4. Hi All, After a cosplaying break of a year I am planning on bringing my fem Negan to LFCC on the Saturday, complete with Lucille and a freshly decapitated zombie head :) Are there any other Walking Dead Cosplayers coming?
  5. I met him on Saturday - he was lovely and as other said took his time with everyone. I heard he stopped personalising autographs in the afternoon. I spoke to one of the crew and they didn't think he would be 'that' popular.
  6. Yes local framers are your best bet, they will offer something called museum quality glass which is what you want.
  7. Todays crew at the RDA photo shoot was awesome! Arrived late to the shoot by 2 minutes due to the massive queue (despite giving myself 1.5h queue time), initially I was annoyed however the pit lady sorted it all out and told me to come back at 3:20. Went back, had my Sean Gunn shoot done, changed from my GOTG shirt into my MacGyver shirt and was added to the RDA queue and got my picture. Professional, friendly and organised
  8. See you all Saturday....only greener :)
  9. Awesome, looks like there's been a lot of effort put in to it. Well done Thank you, I'm am super exited and can't wait to be all painted up and get the initial 'WTF looks..?' at the hotel
  10. Almost done, though I would post some pics :) My finished body suit (mesh top is separate to avoid wardrobe malfunctions ) Infinity orb with glowing stone Currently finishing the belt and attaching the sheath and dagger [/url] Sexy boots, they are super comfortable. Collar and stuff :)
  11. Yes, seen those posts too "My friend has been amputated from the neck down and his forth cousin twice removed was supposed to get him a ticket but forgot when he suddenly moved to Tahiti. Anyone has a ticket spare?" Tahiti is a magical place...so it's possible Someone got the reference *High fives*
  12. I think I'm approaching 200 hours on my Gamora build... and I'm in the final stages, finally. But still a few bits to do before I'm happy.

  14. So 10 days left who else is in the "OMG, I got so much to do and so little time to do it. Why aren't there more than 24 hours in a day?" kind of state?
  15. Yep, people can be unscrupulous when there is a chance of a 'quick buck'. Having every ticket checked in combination with ID will take too long and the logistics of it all will probably mean that the price of a ticket has to double. SDCC has pre-registration where you pick up your badge the day before, this system is not only good to avoid touting but also you know exactly who is in your venue and if there are any situations people can be identified (referring to some problems with cosplayers being assaulted/ harassed). They have a member ID system going where everyone have a unique ID which allows you to purchase passes (if you're lucky) Having a platform to sell/trade/cancel your purchased ticket is a great idea! I got to concerts often and on most of the fan forums people advertise the spare tickets at face value. You know the ticket will go to a fan. Besides all of this I am very excited for this years LFCC and thank you SM for doing a great job and providing a great line-up!
  16. Cards are great - I hand them out to people who take pictures of/with me. It is a great memento of the day seeing the picture
  17. Also some cosplayers will give you their card - if you post your pictures on say Facebook. Please tag or credit them!
  18. Booked photo shoots for.... Richard Dean Anderson: Childhood dream come true. When I was a tiny girl I said to my mum "I want to meet MacGyver" :) Sean Gunn: He looks like fun and I'm a massive GotG fan!
  19. By the way are there other Gamora's in da house on Saturday?
  20. Saturday I'll be Gamora and on Sunday I'll be wearing jeans with a themed t-shirt depending on what photo shoot I'm going to. Got a 'Quit smiling you idiot, we're supposed to be professionals' for Sean Gunn and a MacGyver t-shirt for Richard Dean Anderson :)
  21. Who ?????? Star-Lord, man! The legendary outlaw?
  22. I'm doing a Star Lord cosplay ^-^ it's my first time at a con but I wanted try something new and thought Star Lord would be the simplest to start with Oh brilliant - we will have to take a picture together if you are going on the Saturday. Also if you are looking for a working 1979 Sony tps-l2 walkman like Star Lord uses give me a shout - I have one for sale as I ended up winning two auctions Check my facebook page for costume updates if you fancy! Yeah that would amazing :) I'm going for the whole weekend so I'm sure we will bump into each other. And that would incredible if i had a working Walkman so far it's just a cardboard phone holder :') how much are we taking for the price? Just look for the 6.1ft tall Gamora! With regards to the Walkman, contact me via Facebook - as I'm sure the mods would prefer this. Link is in my signature.
