  1. I JUST SCREAMED THE HOUSE DOWN!!!! I got a photo with her last year but she left before i could get auto, I'm so happy right now this has made my entire week! THANK U SM!!
  2. Met him last year and he was brilliant, one of my favourite guests actually. Can't wait to meet him again!
  3. The sherlock fanbase is huge and incredibly dedicated from what I've seen - they completely dominate social networking sites. Even if SM don't manage to get the bigger actors, I wouldn't be surprised if this was very popular just as a place for fans to meet up and meet some more minor cast members.
  4. Girlfriend and I are now attempting to have our Fang & Vanille (Final Fantasy XIII) cosplays done for this show...we shall see. D: Such great ideas on this thread! Can't wait to see everyone.
  5. me and my girlfriend are gonna try and cosplay ash and pikachu if we have time to get everything together...we're not very good at cosplay but it should be fun :3
  6. Iain Glen wasn't very talkative when I met him either, possibly because he was one of the busier guests and didn't have a great deal of time. Still very polite and pleasant though. I decided against meeting Lew Temple in the end and I really regret that now because everyone has said how lovely he was. Seems very friendly and chatty.
  7. Ian McElhinney was lovely, very friendly and chatty. One of only two guests I met this time and I'm so glad I did because he made my day. (Iain Glen was very nice as well!)
  8. I'm probably gonna have to cut this list down because I don't think I have the funds but hopefully: Iain Glen - Photo and Auto (GoT book) David Bradley - Auto (GoT book) Ian McElhinny - Photo and Auto (GoT book) Adam Brown - Auto (The Hobbit 8x10) Lew Temple - Auto (TWD 8x10) Lance Henriksen - Photo and Auto (Aliens 8x10)
  9. I'm considering cosplaying for the first time as Arya Stark, dependent on whether or not I have the time to actually make a costume!
  10. i highly doubt women objectify men with their comments in the same way that men are actively encouraged to objectify women through stuff like page 3 and it certainly doesn't have the negative societal impact that page 3 has.
  11. Anne Hathaway. I watched the princess diaries when i was like 10 and was completely and utterly obsessed.
  12. ooooh i hope so. i'd be surprised if there wasn't somebody there selling them, mother's basement and other such companies tend to go to the majority of cons and they sell POP vinyls.
  13. The Thing, Alien, The Fly, The Others, Rec, Evil Dead, The Shining, Psycho. A mixed bag, pretty much.
  14. she's fabulous. Really wish I was coming to this now and may be forced to attend just for the Sunday...the noughts and crosses trilogy is still one of the best series I've ever read, even as an adult.
  15. I'd agree that there aren't really any "big-name" guests announced for CM20 yet but I'd also point out that there's still a while to go before they'll be done announcing guests. I'd expect a lot more announcements after they've got LFCC Winter sorted tbh - that's obviously going to be the priority right now.
  16. First guest for CM20 that I'm really excited about, can't wait now asdfghjkl
  17. Would be a fabulous guest. My friends and I were discussing how much we'd love to meet Jerome Flynn at our last con.
  18. This is ridiculous, if you add many more walking dead guests I will have to splurge and make a one-day trip to WLFCC. this one is shaping up to be too good to miss.
  19. Didn't even realise this thread was here so I may as well do this now. I'm Megan, I'm 18 and LFCC 2013 was my first con (a week after my 18th birthday...felt like a coming of age kinda thing!) I currently live in a crappy rural town near Blackpool but I'll be moving to either Manchester or Liverpool in September to start university. I'm obsessed with film and television in general, but geek-wise my main obsessions and priorities tend to change; currently it's Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Doctor Who and Hannibal. Favourite films of all time can be pretty typical; The Thing, Alien(s), Terminator, Star Wars, LOTR etc, whilst my favourite directors are Edgar Wright, Quentin Tarantino (cliche but he's just so brilliant) and Tomas Alfredson. Oh, and I'm a casual gamer somewhat head over heels with Skyrim. I can't attend WLFCC because I'll be starting uni a couple of weeks before, but I'm hoping to attend CM20 & I can't wait.
  20. I saw it at the midnight screening. Not that great an atmosphere though, as me and my friend were literally the only two people in the cinema. And, if I'm honest, I was disappointed, but I love Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead so so much I guess it was never going to live up to expectations. I enjoyed it, but for me it's the weakest of the three by miles.
  21. I only went on the Sunday largely because it was my first time at a con and I was going with two other newbies as well. We just wanted the least stressful experience possible I think. It was pretty relaxed, and I'd definitely recommend those sick of rushing around to just stick to the Sunday, though I'd like to experience Saturday just for the buzz and arguably better atmosphere I think.
  22. Norman's manager/friend/I'm-not-actually-sure-what-he-is Sean Clark confirmed on twitter that Norman won't be back in the UK "for another year or so." Sorry guys.
