  1. I also have not been round for and age, but I will be there Friday to Monday also, as usual. Prob hanging around with Elli all the time Naomi
  2. I think it is De Agostini that does the LOTR mags isn't it? I had a diferent mag several years ago from them and they had poor customer service then too, it took them 4 issues to cancel my subsciption, and they would just send me extra mags and then charge my mums credit card for them even though I did not want them. Thats why me and my sis refused to subscribe to the LOTR mags (our news agents only get the first couple of issues of any new mag) I wouldn't touch De Agostini mags with a barge pole unless I can just get it from my news agents.
  3. A scottish Doctor would be amusing, if they brought back Jamie it would be one big scots fest! Rose wouldn't know what to do with herself! I very much enjoyed Saturday's episode, when Casandra was in Rose AND the Doctor, oh they were just too good, although I would have thought the Doctor could have resisted her a bit better, I thought his mind was stronger than that! Heres counting the days till this Saturday! Naomi
  4. Hay Doc! I will indeed be Rose Naomi
  5. About Chris's "costume" I thought that if you pretend you have never seen a Dr Who series, and that the Doctor really exists with his inteligence, I find it far more beleiveable that he would try to blend in a bit more with his clothes, granted he wears the same leather jacket when in Victorian london as he does the day the earth explodes, but I think he is more inconspicous dressed as Eccleston was than say Colin Baker's "Look at me, even if its dark you can see my clothes they are that loud" (No offence). Haveing said that I LOVED Tom Baker's excentric outfit, and am still trying to knit my own scarf. Also, is it just me or does it seem that the Doctor would be really stinky wearing the same clothes all the time, plus a little unimaginative haveing only one outfit per regeneration. At leat Chris changed his jumper! Naomi
  6. I dont think it is important how old his body appears, He is still 900ish years old whichever actor plays him. I dont think phisical appearence (ie grey hair and wrinkles) affects him the way it does us. I was thinking that when Hartnal played him he does comment that he is old, and has to keep taking breaks from running etc, but then he was still on his first life, and he had reached quite an age by then (somewhere around 600 I beleive). His susequent lives never last as long, and he never appears to suffer from old age again. Also when he regenerates he creates whole new cells, like a new born baby, making him just as able bodied as a young person, regardless of the fact his body may look say 70. Just my thoughts anyway Naomi
  7. This is a vid me and JaY(gears?!?) made ninth life Naomi
  8. My list of favourite Doctors, starting with my favouritest is: Christopher Eccleston Tom Baker John Pertwee Paul McGann Sylvester McCoy I haven't seen much of the others, cos I'm a bit young. "I must protect My Doctor from the false God."
  9. I thankyou for your Chicken appruciation, Sally is feeling verry special that she now has celebrity status. She is currently creating her own email address so she may post all her pictures on her own phobucket account, she also intends to become a member of the forum, so keep an eye out for her and do make her feel welcome. She has tried to join your forum too but is currently having logging on problems. I was dressed as Luke Skywalker from ROTJ when I met Paul, but I do love LOTR too, so I will let you off for the mistake. anyway I hope to join the McGann Library soon. Naomi
  10. Im going to Germany next week! where abouts is he going? Naomi
  11. Exterminate! I too went from being anoyed with them, to laughing my ass off everytime they came past. I particularly liked it when two of them were going round saying "moove, the Darlecks have a hangover, get out of the way" then the one in front stopped, the one behind said "move" and the one in front said "No" I suppose maybe you had to be there, just very sureal thats all. Naomi (Lucy Skywalker as the Darlecks called me!)
  12. yeah, she had her picture taken with more guests than me too! Naomi
  13. Hi peeps can I join SG16, I kinda see myself as a Dr, plus looks like a good team to be in. Naomi *waves to all the OJBs and peeps I hung out with/ spoke to this weekend*
  14. Hay peeps! I made it see! Can I be Carter please. here is a link to my photos from the weekend pictures The first one is one of Mo's so I hope you dont mind. I did not get a pic of Paul with the Chicken, and Lucy wanted to see it. Naomi
  15. Hi peeps Im glad everyone had as much fun meeting Paul as I did, he really is a number one guy! We had two great meetings with him, Ive been going to collectormania since C4, and I would have to say meeting Paul was the best meeting Ive had with a guest. I think Princess L. Organa (my sister) pretty much stated the best parts, except one! When we went up to meet him the second time (cant keep us away!) Jay (Gears!?!) and him, shouted at each other just like Withnail and Marwood when they have been called a purfume ponce, and run out the pub! It was soo cool! Ok well I finally have some pictures for you all. The first one was taken by Mighty Mo, so all copyright to her (hope you dont mind, its just I did not get one on my camera) It is the rubber chicken photo, mentiond by L. Im sure many of you saw the chicken (called Sally) getting her photo taken with many guests (and Darleks) over the weekend, well now you know why, it all started with Paul. thats it. Mo got more pics than I did, so can you put them up, Naomi
  16. Hi Peeps here are my photos, there are allot, but there are some good ones in there. My pics Naomi
