superwondergirl replied to james05's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2012
Hi Thank you for a great show well done -
hi I was dressed as Wonder Woman at the show for charity. First thank you all who donated, Second my camera died I tiook about 100--130 pictures. only the first couple came out. at some point my camera broke. If any one took pictures of the giant wonder woman could you share please. its my only proof I was there for my sponcers to pay up their donations. Thank you

hi i was in the early bird queue, we snaked along the building and then back and forth, waiting our turn. We were at the door about to go in when the entire crowd turned and surged forward. I protected a lady from being pushed into the door frame , got a giant bruise down my right side and hit my ear hard enough to bleed. Others were being pushed by the surge. If a lady -small man -a child -or someone in a wheel chair had been there they would have been really hurt in the crush. TOTAL RESPECT to the showmasters girl who tried and got it under control. Well done, To showmasters . some kind of rope system would have helped to visitors, -- wait your turn, don't be sheep and follow the idiots, respect each other, be careful, please

Questions about attending on Saturday
superwondergirl replied to thewizard's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2012
Hi Some of us are not used to london we are from the country side, not used to tubes. Its easy to get lost. I will be in costume as wonder woman, Nervous as anything as i am doing it for charity . My wife and friend are getting me ready. Then 2 hours travel to nearest bus station, 1 and 1/2 hour on the bus to london then find victoria , etc etc. So I and other people don't want to get lost in London , espeacialy if we are in costume. So thats why we ask and want to confirm were to go, if its a family group with buggy, fisrt time to london, a young couple, people in costumes or some guy dressed as wonder woman. Please bear with us and if you see us , offer a hand or at least directions thank you. -
Can you spare half a day to help the show?

Hi I am coming up on saturday , I could help out for a couple of hours, I am used to crowd control and following orders, ex military- one draw back I will be in costume asa very large wonder woman. If it helps I am 19 stone, 6 foot 3 inch and used to play american football so i am quite huge. Would you like help for a couple of hours? Let me know, please -
How close are the shops or resteraunts ie mcdonalds or kfc . and are they used to people in costumes. Last event i was at I got mobbed for photes-- did get a free meal though. Will they be able to handle the likes of yoda, darth vader ,a couple of batman, a giant wonder woman ,and a few orion slaves?

Hi I am coming up on saturday as are quite a few other people. Here is my idea, once i get to London even with directions I may get lost, or in the right place but not sure, where as london based people know the area. The IDEA if you see some one in a comic book or sci fi t shirt ask them if they are going to LFCC , if they say yes ask them if they know where to go, if they say yes , let them be------ if they say no guide and help them, Same with people dressed as jedi's star fleet, superheros, wookies, I am from a little village of 200 houses and a single shop. London is huge and scary. I will be the one with white hair ,shorts and a superhero t shirt or the one dressed as wonder woman (raising money/charity stunt) and it would so help if someone said follow us we are going to the show.Last year several of us where geting lost and I said to one stranger are you going he said yes and we followed him to the show at earls court. Comic con people are the best, nicest, politest people I have ever met, lets help each other outside the show as we do inside the show.
