  1. Hi Sasari, Gold tickets seem to be available still. Buying those would get you in.
  2. At DSTL you paid about £30 entry for a day. This included free talks, a star trek prop museum, merchandise stalls, screening of episodes. On top of that you paid for talks, often with main guests, opening and closing ceremony, autographs, photo shoots and prop photo shoots. meet and greets. Because it was an official convention you had to bring something official to get signed or buy one of their 10 x 8's. They were £3 each. They also had different packages that gave you extra, like being able to go to the front of the queue, priority seating for talks, etc.
  3. Hopefully every guest I want to meet with be there on the Friday, then I can attend Chevron on the Saturday and Sunday.
  4. It is a shame we can't swap the tickets. I agree with trekkiefan, if there are people I want to see attending on the Friday, then I will go there then.
  5. Not happy about that! Would have liked to have gone to Sherlocked.
  6. Not happy that it is the same weekend as Chevron.
  7. I like autographs, you get more of a chat with the guests. Photo shoots tend to be over in seconds! Some guests to let you have a photo over the signing table, others will have no posed photos, meaning that someone can take a photo of you with the guest whilst the signing is going on, others will have no photos at all. The guests list on the website will tell you what day they are attending. If everyone you want to see is there on Sunday, go Sunday as it is quieter.
  8. This is what I understood. DP is a guarantee, but there will be a chance to have an auto or photo with them, but it is not guaranteed. So if you have a VT for 450 and at the end of the day they only reach 400, then you will miss out.
  9. I am a huge fan of Michael J Fox. Would love to meet him and would pay extra especially if it included an auto, talk and a photo. :)
  10. Hello, I like the idea of pre-selling entry tickets. I always stay all day. Partly because of the people I want to meet are busy! I decided not to meet Carrie has she was outside my price range. However for someone like Harrison, for a guaranteed photo/auto/talk, I would pay more. :)
  11. Love the instant printing too. Why wasn't it done sooner? Because those printers cost thousands of pounds!
  12. My boyfriend has to get up at 5 am to go to work on Monday, so doesn't want to stay out late on Sunday. It takes us a good three hours to get home. :)
  13. So, here is my experience. Brought an early bird ticket for Sat and Sun, photo shoots and talks online before the event. All tickets arrived in good time. Got to LFCC at 8:30am on Saturday and joined the long queue. I was in the venue at 9:50. I attended the Jenna talk on the super stage and it was really disappointing. Couldn't hear a thing! Also I thought the seating was supposed to be in number order. There were no signs at the end of the rows to indicate where to sit, like there had been last year. Also, the guy on stage doing the interviewing was rude and insulting to some people in the audience. I think the biggest shock was on returning from the Jenna talk was seeing loads of people outside the venue, and being told I wasn't allowed back in as there was too many people in the building and they didn't know when I could re-enter. I was concerned that I would miss the photo shoots that I had already paid for! Luckily, after about 20 mins I was allowed in and got my photos. Some photo shoots were done in number order, some were not. Typically, the two shoots that I had low numbers for, weren't done in number order! The person in control of the queue needs to be loud and confident, so that people listen and do as they are told. All shoots need to be in number order, otherwise it is just not fair. The venue was packed and hot on Saturday. I have been coming for many years and have never seen it that busy. Sunday was so much quieter. Arrived later than Saturday, but got in 10 mins earlier! Went to a couple of free talks, learnt that if you sat right next to a speaker, you could hear fine! Why were the free talks only 25 mins? Not long enough to ask questions. Had no trouble re-entering the venue. Overall, I got the photos and autos that I wanted. Disappointed with the paid talk, the length of the free talks and it being so hot and crowded. Will I go again? Yes, if there are people I want to meet, then I will go.
  14. Love this guy. So sweet. Said "Hello, I'm TJ" and "Thank you for having your photo taken with me." at the photo shoot. He had run out of bugs when I got my auto on Sunday, but did get a business card, a cast photo, and an elastic band. Would love to have a Bones convention. :)
  15. I think a cardboard cut out of Michael would have been more animated during the photo shoot than Michael himself. I found that very rude. I said hello and thank you, at least he could have done the same. Worst guest, disappointed.
  16. Nope. It is done like this, 1-50, then later 1-100 etc. You can go any time after your number is called.
  17. Great photos. Thanks for posting.
