Yeah, same with me wanting Kiefer Sutherland's auto- they had some on  the stalls, but NO ONE had him as David from Lost Boys which was a bummer. I also saw Quentin Tarnatino's and Tim Burtons so, I would buy autos from other people. Although I think meeting the people to get them is extra special, cus you get to slowly build your collection and add memories to it
"I WAS VERY ANGRY HALDIR DIED! he wasn't even supposed to be there and then Peter Jackson goes all nerfy and is like " we need more senseless violence so let's bring in a bunch of femmy elves. And since nobody loves Haldir, 'cuz i made him a slightly less attractive lothlorien copy of legolas, he's uber expendable." WELL PETER JACKSON I OBJECT! the entire theatre went "oooh! wtf?" GRrrrrrrrrr...... i need a bendy hobbit!"

HALDIR LIVES!

I effectivley paid £45 for Carrie Fishers autograph last summer at a signing event she did in London. It was £20 to get in then £25 per sig. I have to admit the people that ran it were so unpleasent and their were all the rules about no photos no personalisations etc that the whole thing left a bit of a nasty taste, as a result the auto really doesnt mean as much as it should.
Those organisers have a reputation of being particularly unpleasant !
Wanted : Kris Kristofferson, Anna Paquin, Victor Garber, Adam Baldwin, Michael Ironside, Tanya Roberts.

Lost guests - especially John Terry, Michael Emerson and Terry O'Quinn.

LOTR Guests - especially Bernard Hill, Sala Baker, Ian Holm, Hugo Weaving and Peter Jackson.

There's something wrong with the world today. I don't know what it is. Something's wrong with our eyes.

Agreed.

I would NOT pay £70 for an auto at an event (I have paid £25 But that was a one off).  I'm sorry if I offend any one but nobody is worth £70 or even £30 for one auto!
FARSCAPE GUESTS PLEASE!  (Ben and Claudia would be great)

MORE FIREFLY GUESTS! (Nathan for my Wife(13 autos and counting))

HEROES (C12 and LFCC looks great)

STAR WARS GUEST PLEASE!

AND I'VE GOT MY FARSCAPE AVATAR

Now living in Calgary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in your opinion nobody's worth over 30 pounds.

an autograph is worth the amount someone is willing to pay for and the fact is some people are willing to spend more then a hundred pounds on an autograph.

i should know i'm one of them.

That is a lot! I would never pay so much for an autograph. I would just sneak in and just do a talk, lol.

But why not get Hayden, Ewan or Liam, they are quite big and good. Maybe cheaper, no clue tho...But Mark Hammil is....much >,>

Personally I think £25 is the max they should charge for anyone's autograph.

Where are they going to put all the stars for C6?

Creedy: How do you imagine that's gonna happen?
V: With my hands around your neck.
Creedy: Bollocks. Whatchya gonna do, huh? We've swept this place. You've got nothing. Nothing but your bloody knives and your fancy karate gimmicks. We have guns.
V: No, what you have are bullets, and the hope that when your guns are empty I'm no longer be standing, because if I am you'll all be dead before you've reloaded.
Creedy: That's impossible. Kill him.
[the fingermen open fire on V, but he still stands after their clips are empty]
V: My turn.

Certainly my experiances with the lot who orgainsed the Carrie Fisher event were less than pleasent, funnily enough they said that all the restrictions that were placed on the signing were by her. However, when she did a book signing over here recently she was as nice as pie apparently, does make you wonder!

Still going back to the original point of the thread it would be good if SM could get one decent name even if it isnt Hammil or an equivalent maybe someone like Billy Dee Williams just so he could make it a hat trick of cancellations!!

Hang on, y'all guys know that Mark Hamill doesn't sign Star Wars anymore don't you?

I'm sure it's quoted on his own website somewhere, the buzz a couple of months ago was that he'd even crossed Star Wars off his CV, says he'd like to be known for all the stuff he's done after it.

Anyone doubting what he's done, take a long look at the credits on his site, you'll be surprised.

If he doesnt sign Star Wars stuff anymore its strange that he doing a signing of only Star Wars 8x10 photos a few weeks ago at an event in the US, very confusing  :D

My feeling was he had a contract at one time, I think when he started doing that Batman cartoon, that he could only sign stuff that was related to Batman or something like that.

I guess that contract be finished now. It would be cool if he was to come over for this. I reckon if he was williing there is no reason Showmasters won't be able to get him.

I have got neary 80 star wars autos all bar two I have got in person as well ( Hayden from a dealer friend + Alex guiness who I wrote too)

To my knowledge Dennis Lawson has never done a signing nor has Ian McDermid

I would gladly pay £20 for each of them!

Hammil well I would shell out £30  if showmasters got him same for Fisher, Oz and Earl Jones.. as they are very expensive guests...

I have plenty of other autos and if they got a load of NEW men in mask / background actors I would pay £5-10 each for them too !

Could always try and get Denise Lawson's autograph for free if you went and waited where they film Holby City
He stopped filming about three months ago. He was on Richard and Judy about two weeks ago talking about leaving Holby City. They gave him a 12in Figure of himself (with Biggs). He said how the new films weren't as good as his Star Wars films, and also how they asked him to go to Australia last year to be in Ep 3 - he refused them!

As for TOT Reunion. I would like to see some guests who don't ordinarily do conventions, or at least not over here. I don't mind if they had 2 minutes screen time or 2 hours! I would like guests like John Morton (Dak), and Jabba's Dancers (From ROTJ Special Edition), how about the guy who operated IG-88? Or the woman that played Zuckuss? Maybe the voice of The Emperor - Clive Revill? Or the voice of Boba Fett - Jason Wingreen? Oh and the woman who fires the Ion Cannon in ESB! And if you're really pushed, Showmasters, ask the grump that is Harrison Ford!?!

The only ones who interested me if its a 30 only on screen for 2 mins guests are the bounty hunters, getting all of them together and signing a photo would be great, IE IG-88,Zuckuss,4-Lom,Boba Fett and Denger.

Dengar (Morris 'Moray' Bush) died 9 years ago (1995) so getting him would be *ahem* a slight problem.
