Should we try and organise some kind of mass transport from Braehead to the centre- taxi shares and whatnot so it's cheaper for all involved? Especially for those staying at Braehead...

Since the SW announcements on Sunday, just booked our stay over. So will be coming.  

Now all I need to do is find out where it is and how far it is from braehead LOL.

Just quoted me £9 - £10 per cab, from Glasgow to Braehead, and they do take advance bookings ( But any time I've used them they've been speedy as hell anyway! )

Pretty sure they have some people carriers on their books as well, so if a few of you do wanna come in together, that'd be a further saving :)

I say nearer the time we organise a time and a place near Braehead to meet up and then all share taxis from there, depending on how many people turn up :-)

Lived in Glasgow all my life but never been to classic grand, what are drink prices like?

Probaly be going to Crystal palace for a pitcher or 2 either way:)

Hey I was wondering maybe for a bit of fun we could rename some drinks? Not lots cause that wouldn't be fair on bar staff having to remember them lol but just 2 or 3?

eg. Cherry Sourz and Lemonade = Red Shirt
      Vodka and Orange =Sonic Screw Driver
       Jager Bomb= Retcon (If your drinking those and don't lose chunks of your memorys your doing it wrong )

Or maybe just one special cocktail warp core breach maybe premade to save time?  I'm sure at one of the hubs there was a cocktail called a weevil I think it involved rum and thats all I remember:)  

I know might not be easy to get classic Grand to agree to it but just thought I would suggest it:)

Just to double check, can we come in costume? I mean, will the door staff at the classic grand actually let us through the doors if we turn up looking slightly different from the norm

That's the entire plan!
I wouldn't actually show up at the door with your face covered, but costumes are actively encouraged!

Gah, i can't make it to braehead today (going sunday) but i'll hopefully get to meet you guys at the Classic Grand tonight! (hope you can buy tickets on the door no probs!)

Think the total turnout was about 30 - 35 in all according to the door folks? So no' bad going!
