Small print on the Diamond Pass: "Tom will not be signing memorabilia for/discussing Back to the Future" Is that a joke? Surely someone would not attend a convention who is famous for one role, charge a large fee snd refuse to sign or discuss said role!!! You Sir must be pulling my leg? i just read the small print and didnt see it. think meant to be a joke... meant to be being the word. Lol thank goodness! What a prankster

I have been attending Showmasters events since 2008. Glasgow has vastly improved and the guests are getting better and better! Some complaints... The venue is too small, I was disheartened to see its back at Braehead next year. I might spend more money if I could actually see the stalls!!! The guest area, its a good idea but because of the layout its a bit of a cut off area and felt very quiet for the guests. The hall was hot this year snd the BO was bad!! Talk stage needs to be improved. Positives! Some great guests! Crew were excellent! Eventbright worked great! Staff on the door did a great job and as a prebuy I got in earlier. Photo shoots were very well done. Please make it at s bigger event, the appetite is there, the facilities are lacking! All in all another great event! Thanks Showmasters 👍🏻

I cant echo this enough!!! Night and day from last year! I had a great time, everything worked like clock work and it was a pleasure to attend. Last year my wife said she would never attend the Con again. I convinced her to give it one more chance and we had the best day ever! Great Con, great layout, great organization and amazing guests!!!!! Thank you Showmasters. You are at the top of your game

I am attending Sunday only from Glasgow.( couldnt get off work for the whole weekend) I have entry tickets and a diamond pass for my wife and I for Jeremy Renner. Am I right in thinking that I have to queue in the main queue to gain entry and then once in join a second queue? If so, will this queue not be rather lengthy due to the number of Diamond guests at the event and queuing for this could cause me to miss other photo shoots I have booked as they start early! Almost missed Bill Paxton last year. I am suprised and disappointed that after paying a lot of cash for the Diamond you have to then queue again. I know there was issues with touts but this seems like a poor alternative and a big negative to expensive Diamond passes. I hope it all goes well on the day but I fear this system could be problematic at best! Also if I need to go to a shoot can my wife pick up both pases if she has the correct paperwork? Cheers

First off, met some amazing guests today and from that perspective I had a great time. Alas however the venue was far too overcrowded and the photoshoot areas were a farce(despite great efforts from the staff) The event was oversold as were the photo ops. An hour was marked down for MJF and there was 400 diamond passes alone! How did you ever think that was going to get done in an hour? Same with Sigourney! I have been attending events since 2008 but this was the first time I felt things were not as enjoyable as they should be! The over attendence is a false economy, I came with pockets full of cash but other than a Pop figure spent nothing due to the cramped conditions. The photoshoot areas were poorly signed and they were even moved without all the maps updated. I missed out on 3 shoots I had booked due to clashes and I left before another 3 were due as I was over tired and fed up with the crowded conditions! I love these events but today has caused me to question if I will continue attending as its just not as fun anymore I am sorry I am being negative as I am a fan and truley grateful for the chance to meet such great guests. I have no complaints about the crew who were all excellent I hope more consideration is given to the venue, photoshoots areas and layout next year! Also if you are calling batch numbers please have someone checking them in the queue as alas not everyone is honest!!!!

I am going to go out on a limb here! Dont shoot me down I know its ridiculous but wouldnt it be great if it was....... Simon Pegg and Tom Cruise! I know its a massive long shot but both Pegg and Cruise are very fan friendly and have Mission Impossible 5 to promote. Cruise would never normally do this sort of thing but in conjuction with a promotional tour he might. As I say, long long shot but hey I can dream lol

I personally am very happy with the inclusion of the Diamond passes this year. It's just a further example of Showmasters progressing and evolving the event. Never in my dreams did I think I would get a chance to meet Micheal J Fox and now I am! Having grown up in the eighties this is a massive guest for me and I am more than happy to pay for the privilege. I understand that these passes may price out some people but the Con still has dozens of guests at fair prices to cater for every taste. I thought £15 for Noah Wylie was very cheap! So its still possible to meet great guests on a limited budget. Thank you so much Showmasters, this 80s movie geek is very happy :-) Onwards and upwards, I look forward to some more amazing announcements in the future. July cant come quick enough
