Basically I fancy the pants off this guy but I am so shy. I have left it so long now he might be leavin in a few weeks. What do I do? Bear in mind this has been tormenting me for ages. As far as I know he's not aware......yet. I don't really know him.

i chose the top one...let him know how you feel,i am shy too and on many occasions mucked things up for me and the peeps that i fell in love with.Love makes us do things that we don't generally do, more malicious thatn others...even if you give it to him in note form at least he will know how oyu feel

At the end of the day life is too short to be sitting there saying "What If".
So what if you're shy? What's the worst that could happen? He says no! Big deal!
At the end of the day if you speak to him, a) you're building up your confidence and
if he does say no you may still get a good friend out of it (he'll feel honoured you think of him in that way) and c) He might just say yes

yeh jus tell him, i woz in the excat same situation a few weeks ago, except he is a friend of mine lol. ne way he sed no coz he likes someonelse at the moment ne way basically we are now like the best of friends ever and our friendship is stronger, so even tho im goin out with him ive not lost out on anything coz im still really good mates wiv him. lol so u got nothing to lose. good luck

Lemmie see...i liked this guy and told someone else. basically she has the biggest gob in the world and told him. he said i was too young for him, despite him only bein 2 years older than me!
then we were doing something together and he just decided to ask me out, so we went for a drink and then he walked me home and we kissed and it was a bit akward when we saw each other the next time.
so i was like, crap cos i thought i'd messed everything up so i went to him and asked him out for a drink and told him exactly how i felt, and he said he was the same, but he was a bit shy!!! seeeeeeee, had i been shy, we'd have both missed out..your dude might be exactly the same!

I used to be quite shy and when I liked guys I never said anything, I basically just regretted it. Now I have more confidence and I don't wanna make the same mistakes, so I tell them that I like them they either just think I'm a slut which I certainly am not or just don't like meh! But that's just me anyway.

Alternatively you could stalk the guy, make his life a misery but get lots of exercise in the process. Howerver there are a few drawbacks like restrining orders and ASBOs but if you're willing to risk it?
