  1. So chuffing happy he's back!! Was snowed in last year and couldn't meet him. The Moss is a legend and one of my all-time favourite F1 drivers
  2. Sir Stirling Moss is a dream for me! I sincerely cannot thank you enough for getting one of my heroes. Don't care how much his autographs and photos are, I'll be there!!! Am just pleased I've got plenty of time to narrow down my questions... Please tell me he's doing a talk!
  3. I'm here! I'm here! Sadly, I won't be at a con until October/November. After six years, I've decided to be a mature and responsible adult, and actually decorate my place! My living room has two half-painted walls, am still sitting on borrowed furniture, while both the bathroom and kitchen just haven't been touched at all. Then there's the case of the carpets that haven't been put down. The last time I tried to decorate, the paint brushes turned into beer bottles! This time, though, will be different and it WILL get done. Even if the annoyance of it kills me! I am looking forward to seeing folks' pictures and hearing all the bar stories Hugs, J xxx
  4. I'd love Alyson Mack, Annette O'Toole, and John Glover from Smallville. Plus, as someone mentioned earlier, it is the anniversary of Jaws, so definitely some guests from the original film. Roy Scheider, Lorraine Gary, and Richard Dreyfuss. Friday the 13th guests would be pretty cool, as would more Hellraiser guests.

    The End of Time

When it came out that the Time Lords were the ones who turned the Master nuts, I basically knew they were going to get their bums kicked! There's only so far you can push a human, let alone a Time Lord. It's safe to say the Master was my hero at that point! Bernard Cribbins absolutely blew my mind. He was beyond excellent and made me both laugh and cry. The gun bit was simply downright hilarious and the line "Oh my word, it's a cactus!" was delivered perfectly. One of the funniest moments for me was the Doctor shouting "Not the stairs! Not the stairs!" Even thinking about that scene makes me cackle! Being in a chair, I completely understand the sentiment When Wilf knocked on the door, I literally ceased to breathe and the tears began, and got worse when he went to say goodbye to his mates. I had a feeling they'd make something between Mickey and Martha, so wasn't too surprised when that cropped up. Since I'm quite the little fangirl when it comes to this show, I adored it when he went back to 2005 and told Rose how she was gonna have a brilliant year. Loved that he gave the hope for better things to come all the while knowing what was in store! Those very final moments and the words "I don't wanna go," pretty much killed me. The geek factor of the 11 Doctor kissing his leg and touching his ears, hair etc etc reminded me of early 10 when he was going on about his new teeth. I will be giving him a chance purely because I remember being more than dubious when both Billie Piper and Catherine Tate were announced as companions. Looking forward to next year and the return of the Silurians.
  6. Does anyone else feel spoilt for choice when they ask for guest suggestions?! I'd love some more Final Fantasy voice guests. Got Steve Blum's and now I'm hungry for more! Bones folk would be mighty nice, as would folk from Veronica Mars and House. Doctor Who goes without saying Neil Flynn, the Janitor from Scrubs, would be an absolute treat!
  7. I also preferred Olympia to Earl's Court. It had a better atmosphere, felt a bit friendlier if you get that, and it seemed to be a little less crowded despite there being a zillion folk in attendance. Definitely a good choice!
  8. Duncan Jones, the director of Moon. If you haven't seen this movie, I highly recommend it.
  9. Cookie, you've got some gorgeous photos!
  10. I seriously think Showmasters should put on a Nightmare On Elm Street con.
  11. I haven't read the full thread, so I don't know if this has already been addressed. The only accessible lavatory was on the second floor as the other was apparently blocked by a photo area. There wasn't much inconvenience, but it was annoying and embarrassing, especially when I had a photo shoot and had to ask if I'd have time to go relieve myself. As for the venue, I preferred it to Earl's Court. There was more room, it was easier to navigate, and much warmer. The only problem was the bar. It sold nothing but Budweiser, Becks, and one form of wine. Plus, with the toilets being where they were, I didn't have a steward telling me I couldn't go there. Yes, this has happened at Earl's Court.
  12. Hello, folks! I was just wondering who else got asked to be part of the I Am Nancy documentary. I was interviewed for over half an hour and then was taken to meet Heather, where I was on camera again. By the time I was finished, poor Heather was in tears. Before I tell mine, I'd like to hear from other people who got this. Hugs, Scorches xx
  13. I met Shannon near the end of Sunday and she didn't look at me while she signed. I got her attention by asking how she was and blah blah. I brought up rumours about how she's not-so-nice and told her I applaud women like that. If someone's gonna ask you what you want, then you tell them! If someone's gonna rip it out of you, then you rip it out of them ten times back! I told her some of my favourite insults and she laughed merrily. Brian Krause, who was sat next to her, asked me why and by the time I finished, both he and Shannon were shaking my hand. Shannon isn't a doormat. Yeah, she can be a royal hoohar, but can't we all? I liked her and found her way of thinking very much empowering.
  14. There was a pregnant woman a few people in front of me and Robert said "Uncle Freddy is gonna play with the baby!" He pressed one of the glove things on her belly and this woman's face split into the biggest smile I'd ever seen! If you're on here, Pregnant Woman, I'd love to see your photo cos I think it'd be one of the best! I look naked in my photo. Robert wanted the glove over my tattoo and subsequently, it covers my top.
  15. I got two marvelous pictures with you! Not just that, but one of the women who was with you gave me peace of mind about my situation. I'll post my photos when I scan them tomorrow. Thanks for the Klingon love neck massage and the worshipping. It's done wonder for my already over-blown ego! Hugs, Six Inch Heel Girl xx
  16. These are most of the photos I've got online so far. This man is my hero! Please, please bring him back! Ahh, my Bubbles. I so wanted to take this one home with me! This woman is just wonderful. The words I Heart Bella don't do it justice. Cynthia and I celebrating female solidarity! Dennis Taylor? Lovely man, but even his tips can't help me play snooker. I still suck. It was a marvelous weekend, Showmasters. Thank you for the whole thing and especially Steve Blum
  17. My mum has it and I haven't been allowed anywhere near her for three weeks. It's affecting her pretty heavily cos of her high blood pressure. I've spoke to her on the phone and waved through her living room window. Give my love to SJ and tell her to take care
  18. I'll order and just bring the confirmation email!
  19. If I buy my photo tickets online tomorrow, will they arrive in time?
  20. I'd love some Final Fantasy voice actors! Any would do... Especially George Newburn
  21. John Saxon. Heather Lagankamp. Steve Blum. Steve will be my first Final Fantasy voice cast. Hopefully, there'll be more in the near future!
  22. Damn straight I'm going to this one! I plan on having a jolly good knees-up Cheers Issac for the serenade. It's just what I've always wanted!!
