William Shatner Talk

We are very pleased to welcome William Shatner to LFCC this year. While he will be taking part in Photoshoots on both days he will only be taking part in a talk on Sunday 18th of July.

 

Tickets are still available at our online shop here. But tickets are limited so please order in advance to avoid disappointment.

It has.

 

But apparently there was some confusion. There was a post here on the forum asking if the talk was still going ahead Saturday, and looks like SM may have received calls or e-mails about it as well.

Does anyone have a rough idea for what time this talk will take place? I'm trying to book my return train tickets for the Sunday and have got a fair way to travel (and have to be back at work on the Monday) but I've got tickets for this talk and don't want to miss it.

The paid for talks have usually been in the afternoon, if I recall correctly 2 PM or later.

I would love to do this, but Just a few questions.

 

1. I have 5 photoshoots for the Sunday (William Shatner, Jonthan Frakes, Andy Robinson, Katee Sackhoff and Kristanna Loken) I am going to guess that the chances are that someone will clash with this so it is worth it?

 

2. How long are the talks on average? I would still get my ticket and chance it, but I am taking my sister with me who isn't a Star Trek fan. I wouldn't want her to wait around for ages whilst I do this. But then it is William Shatner so I may just make her wait anyway, lol.

I also am concerned it will clash with one of my many shoots, if it does ill have to sacrifice the talk even though ive got a ticket, but Im hoping this talk will be late afternoon after all the shoots are done?

To give an idea - last time, some paid talks started at 3pm, but some shoots went on until 3:30pm or later.

 

So depending on how many shoots there are this time, it's certainly possible there may be some crossovers.

 

You'll just have to wait for the full schedules and then work out the best way to deal with it.

At Collectormania London last November, all four paid talks were scheduled for after the last photo shoot. So you never know - they might do something similar at this year's LFCC. I'll be surprised if the Shatner talk clashes with anything, at least.

 

Edited to clarify: those four talks were over two days - there were two each day.

I am going to speak to my sis first and then mybe chance it. If I can make it then it'll be worth it.

It is VERY likely we'll use the CM@London system at LFCC. It was the clashes at LFCC last year that prompted the change at CM@London.
