Thanks for all the help. We've bought tickets to Milton Keynes Coachway. Are there usually taxi's at the bus stop, or do we have to call one ourselves? Will there be a number accessible at the place if we need to call one?

I always bring my own photos to prevent something like this happening, but I've looked on and off for almost six months for a good Uhura pic from the original series and have come up with NOTHING. So I have to rely on there being a good amount to choose from at the event. I did get my hands on an 8x10 of her from the TOS movie era, so I can compare the pictures to that one if necessary.

I usually get mine signed with my name on them, but when it comes to objects and Star Trek autographs, I just go for the signature. Reason is because my very first Trek autograph from Nimoy didn't have my name on it, so I decided to get them all without my name so that they "match". I really hope the guests don't think that just because you don't get something personalized, you intend to sell it or something.

Are you going to get your autographs dedicated to you, or will you go for the signature only? As someone who's not really an autograph collector, I also wonder which of the two is most common among collectors?

Relevant question for me, are the 8x10's always (or at least 9 times out of 10) in fact 8x10's? Reason I ask is because it has bothered me at some other events (not run by Showmasters) that the sizes in pictures to choose from has often varied in size, often in more than an inch! It's important that the picture I choose will be 8x10 since I custom frame my Star Trek autographs and if it's off by an inch or so, it won't match my other framed Star Trek autographs.

That sucks, I was thinking of getting an autograph from him. How come an announcement like this is not pinned?

Do they usually have stalls with 8x10's for sale? I may have to buy one or two and don't remember if they had those stalls back in 2009.

Just found out I probably won't reach the event until around 5 due to the times the National Express gets us from the airport to Milton Keynes. Not sure that's good or not, I doubt she'll be very chatty after having signed for so many hours. May get her on Saturday morning instead.

We are talking about the Nichelle Nichols from classic TREK here, I think that she is going to be mega busy. Also, as a general rule, the earlier the better. Yes, we are. Walter Koenig was fairly easy to get an autograph from at LFCC last year. Anyway, if she's chatty, I'm sure there'll be pretty much a constant line for her, but I doubt I'll miss out unless I queue hours before it opens.

I don't remember having to choose exactly which bus to take from the airport, I thought you could choose "open" tickets but it only gives you the option to have an open return. Problem is, there's a bus leaving 20 minutes after we arrive at the airport but I'm not sure we'll make it, so we'd have to wait another two hours. But, if we DO make it within 20 minutes after arriving, will we be allowed to get on that bus if we've booked for the one leaving two hours later? Just noticed we have to change buses once in Milton Keynes, from COACHWAY to the town centre. The wait is 45 minutes and the rest of the fair is only 12 minutes, sounds better to just call a cab after that, doesn't it?

Do any of you know if you can buy a ticket on the actual bus, or do the tickets have to be purchased beforehand, online or somewhere else?
