Queen_Sindel
Not in the Big Bang Theory definition of the word, no. But some people would consider me a bit nerd-y. -

Giant invisible rabbit? Angel? Hint: I have a connection to Johnny Depp too. Not funny in the Comedy sense. Hint 22.5: I later appeared in another TV show, but portrayed by a different actor. Not someone you'd expect to see on Baywatch. Does not solve crimes. Speaks Klingon, but not a NEEEEEEEERD, but arguably a bit nerdy. Come on @Raylenth, you can do this, I believe in you. Raylenth
Everything I can think of is disqualified for one reason or another and my brain is going Closest guesses though they are all bad are Xander Harris (Who can in no way be called 'hella brainy'), Fraiser Crane (And neither have been played by anyone else), Chuck (not 90's), Tim McGee (not 90's and again both not played by anyone else!) natedammit
Official question: are you covered by the following list? In The Big Bang Theory, two of the main characters frequently speak Klingon. In Buffy, some klingon characters are shown. In Chuck, Bryce and Chuck are frequently speaking Klingon. In Farscape, John Crichton spoke some Klingon words. In Freakazoid, the main character speaks a few words in Klingon. In Frasier, the title-giving character gives a speech in Klingon. In Lucifer, one Klingon phrase is spoken.. In NCIS there was a man disguised as a klingon, who spoke two lines in Klingon.

Raylenth
OK so it's not Freakaziod as you aren't animated, TBBT is too new, as is Chuck and Lucifer. Farscape is very late 90's but is definitely sci fi. NCIS is 2000's, so that leaves Fraiser and Buffy.
