Non-mainstream/Non-US horror

seeing as 99% of the posts on here refer to the more mainstram, US side of horror, i was just wondering if there is anyone else on here besides me who is into less well known horror movies, particularly euro-horror and asian horror (please dont mention Ringu coz EVERYONE seems to have seen that film, especially since the US remake). Personally i'm hugely into euro-horror (particularly Italian) from the 70's and 80's - directors such as Fulci, Deodato, Lenzi etc...

Anyone else?

i wouldnt say i didnt like any type of horror. i love allsorts, so non-main stream is defo cool with me. i also like fulci movies. city of the living dead was great. to me it doesnt matter where the films come from or who makes em' if they r good then thats all that matters. i also liked battle royale by the way.

I've seen a few Australian/New Zealand horrors (Cut and Christinas House to name two), and a few English non mainstream like The Last Horror Movie that were pretty good.

If you like a good variety of horror movies I suggest you get yourself along to Frightfest at the Prince Charles Cinema in London this August (I think it's last weekend in August - I can't be there this year  ). My friend is one of the co-organisers and they always have a great selection of horror movies from around the world.

You may be interested to hear that Dario Argento MAY be joining them at this years show for a showcase.

Obi-Wan :firedevil:
