  1. Mayhem - De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas True Norwegian Black Metal.
  2. i was in town today and i picked up a CD of previously unreleased soundtrack material from the original Dawn of the Dead (e.g. non-Goblin stuff). It has literally just come out, and its a severely cool CD, i highly reccomend it to fans of the original Dawn. Amazon.co.uk link
  3. I strongly reccomend you guys check out the Rammstein track "Engel", i'm listening to it at the moment and its absolutely mind-blowingly brilliant.
  4. sorry man, i have a tendency to go off on one when bands i hate get mentioned. fair enough Metallica are very popular, i have just never really got into their stuff, i heard that black album and seriously, absolutely hated it. yeah i kno the 99% thing is screwed, i was just trying to emphasise that i dont like them, lol. and to be fair to soulfly, the earlier stuff was good (i quite liked primitive), but when i heard "3" i just thought "what the f*** is going on?". it was so abysmally bad. some crappy track with r&b type vocals and that stupid minutes silence that gets skipped by default. the old cavalera (pre son dying) would never have bothered with any of that s***. although lets be fair about this, we all know cavalera's best project was Nailbomb, but why only the 1 studio album?! but yeah cradle are rubbish. i'm not really a black metal fan atall, although Dimmu Borgir are quite good. currently listening to: Rammstein : Sehnsucht.
  5. Pantera absolutely own, or at least they did when they existed. Soulfly - crap-tacular in comparison to Sepultura, what the hell happened to Cavalera to turn him into a christian and start up a s***e band. Disturbed - erm.....no. Metallica - Kill 'Em all was ok, but 99% of thier stuff is godawful. I'll also probably get sued by them for typing thier name out. Cradle of Filth - crappy. I can't stand that black metal vocal style.
  6. Type O Negative - Slow, Deep and Hard
  7. Cannibal Corpse is probably the heaviest band mentioned so far. Actually they are a damn good death metal band, but you have to be into death metal to appreciate them. However not even the mighty Corpse come close to Mortician. Mortician are in the same vein as Corpse, just about a billion times more insane.
  8. Should be good then. I did like Digimortal, but it was no Demanufacture.
  9. Good choice. Thanks. I cant decide if its better than Demanufacture or not. I think i probably prefer Demanufacture, but SOANM still rips severe ammounts. Demanufacture is an awesome album. Have you heard Archetype yet ? Nah haven't had a chance to check it out yet, i've only heard good things though.
  10. Good choice. Thanks. I cant decide if its better than Demanufacture or not. I think i probably prefer Demanufacture, but SOANM still rips severe ammounts.
  11. erm bit confused, seeing as it seems to go in order, does "cuddly" actually translate to "fat" seeing as its at the bottom?
  12. Hmmm. Someone didn't read the original post. lol.
  13. hmmm well they all sound pretty much the same , lol. so any will give you a good idea of what i mean. 2 of my faves are "three on a meathook" and "zombie apocalypse". most tracks have a stupidly long clip from a horror film in , but after that the actual "music" starts.
  14. yeah what i've heard of children of bodom was quite heavy, although i'm not really a big black metal fan. however they dont come close to mortician, thier stuff can SERIOUSLY mess up your speakers, the bass is so downtuned.
  15. On a constant search to find metal bands that just go that bit further with heavyness, i'm wondering what any metal fans on here think the heaviest band or album that they have heard is. Heaviest band i've ever heard is Mortician, they are actually ridiculous. damn good death metal though especially if your into horror films.
  16. yeah i saw the vid. wasn't really that bad there are way worse vids of similar stuff out there on the net. plus the quality was awful so u cant really see it properly. i was quite surprised how shocked some people were about it, like SM said, theres stuff like this and MUCH worse going on all the time in the world.
  17. Admittedly the majority of the people on here will never have heard of Catriona MacColl, but shes pretty legendary amoung euro-horror fans, and i know that shes done conventions before. I can guarantee that getting her as a guest would mean lots of euro-horror fans would turn up. GO ON SM!!!!!
  18. yeah Battle Royale totally ripped, although its not really horror. There is a sequel but i havent had a chance to check it out yet.
  19. Great films , Cannibal Holocaust and Zombie Flesh Eaters are 2 of my all time favourates (hence mentioning the directors).
  20. seeing as 99% of the posts on here refer to the more mainstram, US side of horror, i was just wondering if there is anyone else on here besides me who is into less well known horror movies, particularly euro-horror and asian horror (please dont mention Ringu coz EVERYONE seems to have seen that film, especially since the US remake). Personally i'm hugely into euro-horror (particularly Italian) from the 70's and 80's - directors such as Fulci, Deodato, Lenzi etc... Anyone else?
