boundsy123
I mean when I went last year, they took my lightsaber off me (I was cosplaying a Jedi) but when I went in there I saw at least 5 other people with the exact same lightsaber. It made me think what are the rules because I'm gonna cosplay Heavy from TF2 and to complete his costume I need to make a small prop minigun out of cardboard. Just wondering what the rules are about what you can take in

Spacecadet is here
I got stopped and search and wasn't even dressed up or carrying any weapons... but other people had all sorts of weapons and were just walking in?
Indestructible
Why would they turn away a lightsaber, assuming it wasn't a real one?
Melmo
As mentioned, the props rules are here: http://showmastersonline.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=87527 If you have any doubts, send a quick email to cosplay@showmastersevents.com with pictures if necessary. Anything plastic (like a lightsaber) or cardboard like you mention should be fine! Edited February 18, 2015 by Melmo

tompain100
How easy or close is the parking? Not sure i fancy walking across Cardiff dressed as the Queen of Hearts! PS what's a 'Runner' There is a massive multi-storey directly across the road from the venue, there is a smaller car-park next door to the venue, another 2 floor car park just down the road by John Lewis, another multi-storey 30 seconds away in another direction,a further car park 30 seconds away in a third direction......there is plenty of nearby parking!

SammySwift
That's a good idea. Is the hotel expensive/far away? I guess you have to book in for two nights tho for it to be useful.

superwondergirl
I had to change my hotel, overbooked at the cheap one, now at the travel lodge in town center, just off queen street, over friday night. less then a half mile walk, did it in november in 3 inch heels tight skirt and corset, easy walk, wife was more embarrassed then I was and i was wonder woman
EvilFluffyBiteyThing
Which means you'll be staying on the street where Kate Lethbridge-Stewart threw the Cyberman's head at Missy's feet. Now that's what I call an appropriate choice!
SammySwift
Really sounds a good idea to book in somewhere. Hey superwondergirl, you must get your misses to take a snap of you walking through town dressed as Wonder Woman. I'm just trying to remember what superpowers wonder woman has? Clearly not invisibility.
