Spacecadet is here
Just a Quick Thank you SM, It was a really good Show today, Travelled up from London, No massive crowds and every one very friendly. That was a great Line up of guests for a first show. Managed to sit and listen to some of the talks for the first time and really enjoyed them, The Torchwood Talk was very good with Eve and Burn laughing at each other.... Wont be able to make next years event, as will be heading back to the Desert.... But hope to make the following year... Once again well done SM and your staff for today
Mazd
I have to agree with space cadet. It was my first event and I loved it. The staff were great really friendly and everything ran to time. Some brilliant guest and my photo with Sylvester and Paul in the Tardis is awesome. The Torchwood panel was the best talk. Those two deserve a comedy show really funny.
andrewrolar
This convention is the way forward. Rather attend 6 smaller shows like yesterday than a big nightmare like LFCC 2014

dr nick riviera
This convention is the way forward. Murph
No offence to anyone at Sheffield, but the smaller events don't get the really big guests though. Money is what gets them and small events = smaller budget. Having said that, meeting Dirk Benedict yesterday was absolutely awesome.
andrewrolar
For me, Dirk was as big a name as Carrie Fisher. Infact , I'd rather have Dirk's auto etc than Carrie's. I paid for 4 Dirk autographs, and it was same as 1 Carrie one.
Murph
Dirk's a boyhood idol and the only person I did a 9hr round trip to meet. But I'm talking of names like Stan Lee etc. SM could never get them to a smaller event. Edited August 31, 2014 by Murph
rosie727
I had a great time. It wasn't as busy as London but I love the hustle and bustle of lfcc. It did give me a chance to bring new blood to an event as it was quieter in Sheffield
Starfox
I had a great time and the staff helped me with my lost tickets. The highlights for me was meeting Sylvester and Paul, and getting a photo with them on the Tardis. I found it very doctor whoish so next year it might be best to try and get Peter and Colin to come to the next one.
@MsSJH
I went on Saturday and I queued twice, both times were less than 5 minutes - once for Dirk and the other for Chris Barrie. The reason for the queues, the guys were really relaxed and chilled and spending time chatting with each guest. It was nice that people were not rushed through like a cattle market and the stars allowed to take their time. The other three I met, Burn, Robert L & Tony Head, I walked straight up with no queuing and again they were really relaxed and chatty. Had a fabulous time personally, got a little crushed for about five minutes around the stalls but that soon eased off. Was very well organised and run with the SM crew being very lovely, chatty and happy. Lets hope that SM do another in Sheffield next year.
