pez Posted September 29, 2008 Share Posted September 29, 2008 etap is fine if your by yourself but there is nothing in it at all apart from a bed and a tv, teh shower is IN the room.( there is no tea coffie facilitys at all) the toilet is a broom cupboard and the taxi ride is about 8- 12 pound if you can find a taxi that knows where the hotel is! it's fine if your on your own. Yeah there are about 3 buses that take you to brehead so you people at the Etap would have no trouble getting to Brehead by bus. You would only have to check the times on a Sunday as evry one knows Sunday service can be a pain. I think its the 23, 24 and 59 that take you but 59 doesnt run on a Sunday. Never underestimate some of the Glasgow taxi drivers!!!! For anyone able to book quite soon there are saver rate rooms going at the Braehead Travelodge for £32 a night for the room so works out quite cheap especially if you're sharing. We booked into the purple hotel last collectormania Glasgow and were very happy with the service and the food, they also emailed us a £5.00 money off voucher for an evening meal for our next stay in December.
