Moderators DavidB Posted March 22, 2008 Moderators Share Posted March 22, 2008 I think you might need to sell Essex as a location a bit better than just because it's close for you
Krypto
yeah otherwise there'd be thousands of events near everyones house all though i suppose that wouldnt be a bad thing
nosfer2
Another organiser used to do events in Basildon but it was a pig to get to. Essex is not an easy destination if you live south of London.
jonathan
I live in Basildon and its quite accessible really. The Basildon events were quite poor tbh with not great organisation in my opinion but as they were on my doorstep I used to pop along.

Shepseskaf
For the south west area I vote Bournemouth. Event can be at either the BIC, large hotels, or the Pavillion. Plenty of hotels, travel lodge, and premier inn. Buses, trains, and planes to get too it. Tower Park, cinemas, beach/seafront, and lots of stuff in town for those wanting entertainment or something to do before and after event. Just an idea
