Jangojohnny
I'm not into starting these topics but I feel I had to as NO ONE has mentioned Flash Gordon himself.. He saved everyone of us!! So Sam J hasn't been too busy lately (LA Takedown, SG1, and I'm sure there's more) I can imagine I'm the only one on this but would I like to meet Sam J!! Was he dubbed over in the Gordon movie? Jangojohnny
NO WAY...How do you know that?? How long ago was this and how long did it last?
Fry
He was also in a cheesy show called the Highwayman. Also in this amazing show was the woman who played Dale in Flash Gordon I remember that! It was about 15 years ago and he used to drive around in a huge truck. It wasnt Melody Anderson though, it was the scary Queen Lizard woman from V. It lasted one season. They made alot of changes between doing the premiere and the serials and people didnt like it. Also, Tim Russ of Voyager fame was in it!

Jangojohnny
I got confused and put Go Flash on the Dolph site...So I'll mention that I think Dolph should come back as He man if the rumours of a new film are true.
emotionalvampire
Cool...Nice to see I'm not the oldest person on this site too.!! But no idea why I don't know of the Highwayman. They only made something like 10 episodes
The Emperor
I loved the He-Man film, and am so pleased the original cartoon is coming to DVD. I think Dolph should play He-Man again. He proved on Graham Norton that he is still fit enough to. I'm not sure they'll be able to get Courtney Cox back though. As Voyager is finished, I'm sure Robert Duncan MacNeill isn't too busy. But who could replace Billy Barty as Gwildor?? I hope Showmasters get Dolph and Meg Foster!
Jangojohnny
Ah..My old friend The Emperor!! If only those words you spoke came true......... I just ordered a classic Dolph movie called "Silent Trigger" Wouldn't it be nice to get that signed. I've spotted Meg in a few movies of late.. She's a babe
Jangojohnny
Wait there...........This isn't the Dolph page..This is still Sam J Jones!! That fantastic actor with one line in LA heat.. or was that LA Takedown?? The Michael Mann movie
The Emperor
Yes LA Takedown. Well back on the Sam J Jones thread. I put the Dolph comment here by mistake. But will now keep this just for Sam, as Dolph has his one!!!
Jangojohnny
Sam is a tough topic though as no one really knows what's actually been doing for 20 years... come to think of it, why did Mike Hodges cast him in the first place..He actually has dark hair and had to be dubbed?? Has anyone ever met Max Von Sydow??..Imagine MING signing?? He's done the best movies ever.. still I'm still hoping for Sam as he MUST need the cash!! emotionalvampire
You will probably laugh when you read this, but he still works. Just not infront of the camera. To make ends meet he has been a camera man, a sound man, a set builder etc. He does most of his work these days behind the camera!
Jangojohnny
How do you know all this?? Flash Gordon..Camera man, sound man, tea boy!! This is shattering my illusions!! Was he in the Horse Whisperer??
emotionalvampire
No he wasnt. He has worked on films such as Wallace & Gromit: A Close Shave as a camera operator and Loaded Weapon 1 as a still photographer. He hasnt done anything major for ages. Did you also know that in 1975 he was the centerfold of Playgirl!
