The Emperor
He did Playgirl under his birth name Andrew Cooper. I do wonder whether imdb have him mixed up with another Sam Jones who works behind the scenes. Because he seems to have done a lot of films that we haven't heard of, and a lot of TV. It does seem strange that he would shift between the two types of work. Looking at a recent photo of him, I wonder if we'd recognise him. As he has let his dark hair grow through. He'd still be a great guest.

The Emperor
Oh right! It's just that sometimes imdb isn't the most reliable source.
emotionalvampire
Well some actors are waiters when their out of work others work in film!
The Emperor
What I mean is Equity rules stipulate that you can't have two actors of the same name, you can have an actor with the same name as a behind the scenes person. Which is where the confusion arises. Check out the Anthony Phelan page on imdb.com, it says he is also a special effects man. Which is not the case, he has only been an actor. So there must be a special effects guy called Anthony Phelan they don't have a page for. I think this may be the case with Sam Jones, as he seems to have worked steadily for a few years now, plus the other things he is credited for are really specialised stuff, like operating a camera for a stop motion animation film. A bit more technical than waiting on tables, which sadly a lot of actors do!
Jangojohnny
Well he was in Redemption, One Man force, Jungle Heat and Where the Truth lies!! so there's been a little work as action hero .. after all he did save the world!! Jangojohnny
But I think I'm the only FLASH fan.. I was well disapointed with Mike Hodges when he did a signing at M.. He was well moody and more interested in his paper than the customers!!  Most of the movies that Sam does now are on super budget label!! cool  He was in 10 too
The Emperor
All you have to do is find a few fan sites and I think that will clear it up. It would be better to get him at Collectormania and ask him ourselves. Fan sites are just that, made by fans usually gleaned from other sites on the internet, and as he has no official site, you can't really tell. So if we all work together in an attempt to get him here, we can ask him whether he was a camera man on Wallace and Gromitt or if he has stuck to being in films. Jangojohnny
Good Call Mr Emperor but where would we go to let people know that we want him in the flesh??... Maybe we could drop a few hints on some site or other?? Â I wonder how we would let the powers at SM know??
The Emperor
Well the people at Showmasters seem to read a lot of the posts, so if we keep mentioning how much we want to see Sam, Ian, and Dolph, then maybe they'll take note. It worked for some of us when we kept suggesting Corey Feldman. So keep up the suggesting!
Jangojohnny
Ok..but I have no Sam news today... Â Melody Anderson...Where has she gone??
The Emperor
Now there's a question. She disappeared into obscurity in the mid 90's. Edited September 14, 2003 by The Emperor

Jangojohnny
I'd love to meet Richard!! That would be cool (Though not as cool as Sam...)  Blessed has got expensive. I remember meeting him after one of his talks and he signed about 8 items for me for nothing (Considering I only asked for one) but now he's £15 a pop. Even to sign his own Autobiography!!  Doug Bradley signed his for nothing at a "pay as you meet" event

Jangojohnny
I doubt it but bring his autobiography and see if you're lucky.. I didn't tell him I'd bought it in a sale for £
