  1. Quite a lot of those people have done events before, so you never know but I doubt we'll see Sarah Michelle Gellar at an event sadly.
  2. When he came to Collectormania a few years ago, the only problem was to choose what to get him to sign ! Ended up getting Star Trek, A Clockwork Orange and Halloween pics signed but didn't get him on the Halloween DVD which I now have Scout Taylor Compton, Danielle Harris and Tyler Mane on so may well look to add him to this and of course Heroes as well and lots of other possibilities.
  3. I've had my Monica refund through in the last couple of days.
  4. I had a Gold Package for the weekend, in terms of suggestions: - I would agree to spread over 3 days, had taken the day off on the Friday anyway but other than the registration in the day not much else going on, so could have been an opportunity to spread out the guests, talks etc over a third day to make it slightly less frenetic the other two days. Everything worked in the end, but there were some tough decisions , particularly around talks that I would have liked to have attended but had to miss with clashes. - Extra chairs/tables always good, must be getting older ! - More information on where some of the guests were and where they were signing, I managed to track down Danny Hargreaves and Arwel Jones myself, but took a fair bit of time and the Crew , including the Red Shirt on the signing area didn't know where they were and neither did the Crew on the Info Desk when I asked. Overall, though I would say one of the best run events I have been too, considering the number of talks, photoshoots, signings etc that were packed in to essentially two days.
  5. An amazing list of credits on his IMDB page, currently 150 !
  6. Sounds like you are going to have a busy weekend mrscottypie ! :-)
  7. Yes, with just a month to go, it's time for the age old thread of who are you planning on meeting and what are you getting signed etc ! Top of my list is: William Sadler (Photoshoot and Auto and yes it has to be as "Death" pic from Bill and Ted) Steven Williams (Photoshoot and Auto, X Files or Supernatural, haven't decided yet) Carice Van Houten (Photoshoot and Auto - Hoping for a pic from Black Book as I've not seen Game of Thrones, yes, that is right, there is a person out there still that hasn't seen it !) Possible Costas Mandylor - Saw Pic Anthony Carrigan - The Flash Nick Blood - Agents of Shield
  8. Autographica? What an odd choice of event... Why is it odd Paul ? They have had some great Horror guests there over the years.
  9. Yes, just let the crew know as soon as you get the pic and they should let you go round again.
  10. Best cure for post Con Blues, go to another Con. O.k. not a Sherlock one, but plenty of others.
  11. Firstly have a look online to see if you can find photo ops or comments on the guests to get views on whether they are comfortable having fun in photo ops, some guests are and some are not. As mentioned above Dina Meyer and John Barrowman for example have great fun when doing their photo ops, on the other hand I have seen other guests be asked to do a pose and have refused, sometimes I think because they don't quite understand what they are being asked for or alternatively they just don't want to do it, which you need to respect. Whoever it is just ask politely first, I always recall meeting Keeley Hawes at LFCC a few years ago and I asked as I walked up to her if it was alright if I put my arm round her shoulder for the photo, she said "thank you so much for asking, I wish other people had done the same". I think some people in their excitement just literally throw themselves at the celeb. Sometimes as well you may get instructions or requests whilst queueing for when you meet the guest and please respect these as well, such as no hugs, contact etc. Basically, be respectful and just ask politely.
  12. A very moving message on the website and completely agree he is going need time to focus on his recovery and I wish him all the best for that in the coming months.
  13. You are not the only one ! It's fantastic to get such great guests and opportunities to meet them ! Depending on what you are a fan of, but some of these opportunities are literally chances in a lifetime. I never for one minute thought I would get the chance to have my picture with Michael J Fox and the Delorean or with Robert Englund in his Freddy Krueger make up, even now when I think about it , I just get a massive smile on my face, just have to remember to take in the moment as it happens.
  14. Very promising news and great to hear that he is out of intensive care and able to sit up. Whilst it would be great to see him at Collectormania, I think it will be understandable if he isn't able to make it due to needing to spend time on his recovery.
  15. Very tricky to be able to pick out just one ! In recent times, Louise Brealey was great at Sherlocked As also mentioned above Charles Martinet (voice of Mario) was fantastic, doing all the voices, recording a message for my sons. Thinking back over the years, Eric Roberts was fab with my son, really made an effort and remembered him later in the hall and came over and gave him a fist pump. Dina Meyer's photoshoot was hilarious, great fun. Sharni Vinson was lovely to meet, very friendly and chatty, also Scout Taylor Compton. John Levene is a top bloke, very friendly. Going way back, Michael Sheard, was always a pleasure to meet. Eve Myles and Karen Gillan were great fun. And on and on, been lucky to have so many good meets, in fact out of the well over 1000 people I have met, I can honestly say there has probably only been a handful that I came away with a disappointing experience.
  16. I feel like the smoothness of this one should convince crankypants to come. Lets hope the rest of the cast tell him about their great experience and this will convince him to attend.
  17. Thanks for the reminder, better check to see if I have had my refund yet, just figured it would have happened but now I will check.
  18. Great memories that you will always have and some great pics hopefully too. And who knows, there may well be another Sherlocked event in the future.
  19. Seriously thinking about a gold pass this time, as even with three days, there seems so much to fit in and having the gold package at Sherlocked really helped to be able to join auto queues without VQ's for example or go through quicker on photoshoots, it might even free up some more time to get to some talks !
  20. In the past there has been two photoshoot sessions for some big guests but don't forget that was in the days of early bird and standard entry, now everyone effectively can enter from 9.00 a.m. as everyone has the same entry ticket , so chances are photoshoots could very well start from 9.30 a.m. and there won't necessarily be a repeat later in the day.
  21. Met a lot of great attendees there over the 3 days, all part of the fun chatting to people and making new friends.
  22. There is only the £5 charge for early bird, no charge for general entry. Line up is always subjective to people's tastes but I looked at all the line ups for the events in Sheffield, Cardiff, Manchester etc and the show in MK aside from the Summer LFCC has by far the biggest number of new faces for me, which considering I have been attending these events since Collectormania 2 and the first LFCC is pretty good going in my book. On top of the media guests there is also a good line up of sporting guests as well at the MK show now which has become a bit of a tradition and looks to have continued this year as well.
  23. So far: Weekend Entry Sunday entry for Two Adults and Two Kids Diamond Pass for Robert Englund Two Photoshoots for MJF (Delorean and Clock Face) Talk for MJF Three Photoshoots for Christopher Lloyd and the Delorean Photoshoots with Neve Campbell Richard Dean Anderson Zach Galligan Jodi Lynn O'Keefe Sherilyn Fenn James Tolkan Claudia Wells Noah Wyle Marc McLure Jeffrey Weissman John Ratzenberger Frances Lee McCain Ronee Blakley Lea Thompson Then I want to get autos from: David Bradley All the BTTF Cast (aside from MJF unless I do go for the Diamond pass, still undecided) Richard Dean Anderson Ronee Blakley Sherilyn Fenn Jodi Lynn O'Keefe
  24. Yes, Danny was on the far right of the production crew photo on the Sunday morning, he was doing stage talks over the weekend and could also be found in the back right hand corner of the hall in the special effects area at other times, lovely guy, happy to chat and sign autographs.
