I am a huge Ghostbusters fan and as much as the 2 trailers and script leak are terrible, you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover (or a movie by it's trailer). Although I really can't see it being any good at all. And I know, you were going for a 'Wrong Name fancies Mellisa Macarthy' joke. Very funny. and here lies my problem and I don't mean with you personally but something I have noticed generally speaking... people seem to have made their mind up on Ghostbusters already, hell, they had as soon as the project was announced. Regardless of what it is actually like, they think it will suck so that is what they will expect to see so they go in not giving it a chance... "I don't like this or that or her, I will give it a chance but not really"

I lasted about 30 minutes of the last Jones film, I would take 6 Ghostbusters films over 1 more of these. absolute joke

people were always gonna slam this when the trailer was released regardless of how good or bad it may have been, people made their mind up on it as soon as it was announced. whether it was 4 women, 4 men or 4 horses even they weren't going to be happy, unless it was the original 4 guys they were always going to put a new one on blast I'll watch this when it comes out and if it sucks I will say it sucks but if it doesn't then I will say that too... I certainly won't judge it on the 2 minutes they have given us

I'm not expecting it to be better that the originals but it looks like a lot of fun, looking forward to seeing it

I'm in the same predicament with my BTTF poster. I only want/need Crispin Glover and Thomas F. Wilson for me to call it complete. Crispin has signed in the US before so a maybe but Thomas I feel my chances aren't that great given he doesn't do conventions etc.... At the BTTF cast talk Marc McClure said he had talked to Thomas Wilson before coming to London and he said that he would get him to come to a future LFCC, maybe next year, maybe in a few years but he would get him to attend. I was told a story of how someone saw Tom in America and explained he needed him to complete his cast shot and offered him $200 cash, he still refused....

spot on, some people just seem a bit clueless... someone even asked on the forum is batches 3-6 come after 1 & 2.... they were asking how to count???? I was there Friday and Saturday and all I missed out on was an auto from Weaver but I knew that may happen as only Diamond Passes were assured of that. There was a few things that I could suggest that may help future events but like you say, anything that needed improving in the past was improved upon for the future, I trust SM would know that too

I was under the impression that even dealers/crew can't take virtual tickets until the doors open, that was certainly the case at n event I was at a while back but this was not the case this time, I was there at 9am on the dot and I got 142

Tim Russ signed my Die Hard 4 DVD and put "Tuvok" under it, (only noticed when I got home) and Frances Lee McCain signed both my Gremlins and BTTF boxsets with "Lynn" under her autograph, which is clearly only correct on one of the DVD's... it's like they were all ganging up on me!

I know he got a mention in the thread about the crew but I feel he deserves his own thread so it doesn't go unnoticed, He had the unenviable task of trying to make photo shoot area A run smoothly which with the amount of people going through was never going to be an easy task but he did a stellar job, whether shouting or waving a board around he was always calm, as helpful as possible and jovial for most part too. One suggestion to anyone who reads this, we as attendees could make his and others jobs a lot easier if we were a bit more sensible... the amount of people with batch 5 or 6 tickets that were standing right on the edge of the queue area, not looking to get moved through quicker because of clashes who would not stand further back as if getting in everyone's way would make the process quicker. We all know that diamond passes and gold passes go first, we know what order numbers go in so if a shoot starts at 1 why would you start queuing at 12,50 if you are batch 6? At least this would stop Showmasters getting flack for how crowded everything was... Anyway, back on point. Great job Luke, you da man!
